It was ever thus sadly, @AnotherShirtRuined
Morality has no place in business, it's all about the bottom line.
If only we lived in a world where the tax system was equitable, with zero loopholes, which allow these massive corporations to legally reduce their contribution to "society" (oh wait!, is there such a thing?)
Nevermind though, Labour, yes Labour!!! will refill the country's coffers by penalising the most vulnerable of us 'cos they can't be seen to be as brutal with business.
Nae worries though, the plebs will absorb the burden so Jeff and Lauren can "almost" hire the whole of Venice for their worthy nuptials using their saved tax pounds.
How soon we forget who kept this country running during the pandemic.
It most certainly was not the Besos' et al of this world, was it?
Simplistic, undoubtedly, even Andrew Neil is concerned about the super rich fleeing the country should there be a wealth tax because they "don't work" it'd be catastrophic, says he.
So how do we raise revenue to fill the pandemic/Tory black hole, aha! lets screw the poor, the disabled, the middle classes any member of our population other than those who could actually make a difference, I'll wager they're not wondering whether to heat or eat. (given the current heatwave, mibbee more eat atm)
They're alright Jack aren't they!
It's late, I'm weary and somewhat emotionalπ
I think I may even be on the wrong thread but I'm gonna blame @AnotherShirtRuined βοΈ they started it (sorry lovely) ππ
Enjoy yer bargains, one and all.
