Hi, I'm looking for a reasonably priced bit decent clothes steamer please.
Thank you

Ohh I know just the thing @Thecatsmothersaunt!! In fact it's one of the top buys by Mumsnet users so far this Prime Day!

Tefal's Pure Pop Slim Handheld Clothes Steamer, was Β£50, now Β£30

Our Mumsnet tester gave it 5 stars after trying it out last year so we definitely recommend this one at HQ.

FusterTuck · 10/07/2025 09:25

Hello hello please help me choose a tv! 42 inch or similar and wifi enabled etc.

ButteredRadish · 10/07/2025 09:31

None of these are bargains! They’ve put the price up 2 weeks before Prime Day, so that on Prime Day they can reduce it back down to its regular price but say it’s now got β€œX% off”

I would love a MagSafe charging stand for my bedside table for my iPhone 16. Ideally one that can swivel to double up as something to watch stuff on my phone, but looking aesthetically nice and working as a charger is my main priority. And I don’t have an Apple Watch or AirPods so don’t need that bit just the phone!

Also looking for one of those galaxy projector light things, am not bothered about having sound/music etc as have an Alexa anyway but would love one with the pinprick star laser things as well as the background galaxy effect stuff and lots of different options.

Hello hello please help me choose a tv! 42 inch or similar and wifi enabled etc.

Morning @FusterTuck! I've had a look and found some good deals - these are all the lowest price they've ever been according to CamelCamelCamel, the website we use for price tracking and comparisons.

Panasonic TV-40S55AEY, was Β£275, now Β£237 - this is a smart TV with Amazon's Fire TV built in and has full Alexa control.

Panasonic TB-43W60AEY, was Β£254, now Β£218 - an inch bigger than what you asked for (43"), but cheaper as it doesn't have Fire TV built in or Alexa control like the one above. Instead you'll get Freely and TiVo!

Philips 40PHS6009, was Β£179, now Β£149 - 40" size that works with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant.

And finally Hisense 32 Inch Smart TV 32E4NTUK, was Β£149, now Β£119 - this one's a bit smaller, at 32", but it is a smart TV powered by Vidaa and has your usual apps installed, like Netflix, Disney+, Youtube etc.

HTH πŸ’

I have one of these and highly recommend -

Anker MagGo 2-in-1 Wireless Charging Station, was Β£50, now Β£30 (Anker's official website is also offering the same deal, so the prices are legit).

It can also charge air pods should you choose to get some in the future, but even without air pods, the stand looks nice on a table IMO.

As for a galaxy projector light - this one has 4 stars on Amazon and is reduced from Β£40 to Β£25.

HTH 😊

PollyMumsnet · 10/07/2025 11:03

Morning all, I've found some good deals on high-quality home brands πŸ•΅

Lots of Joseph Joseph is up to 50% off, including their much-loved Tota laundry basket (44% off, now Β£64) and this smart Kitchen Sink Caddy which is now just a tenner.

The Ninja Foodi Dual Zone Digital Air Fryer is Β£125 down from an RRP of Β£219 - here's our review if you want to learn more about this highly-rated air fryer.

... and finally, if you've been thinking about getting a robot vac, now's the time. Shark's PowerDetect Robot Vacuum and Mop has a whopping Β£450 discount off its Β£950 RRP. Snap one up by Friday and you'll pay just Β£500 - camelcamelcamel says it's the lowest price ever for this model.

Britneyfan · 10/07/2025 12:48

Thank you so much! Both look great.

So disappointed that MN is supporting and promoting Amazon like this. They treat their employees horrendously and undermine small, local businesses 😒

It was ever thus sadly, @AnotherShirtRuined

Morality has no place in business, it's all about the bottom line.

If only we lived in a world where the tax system was equitable, with zero loopholes, which allow these massive corporations to legally reduce their contribution to "society" (oh wait!, is there such a thing?)

Nevermind though, Labour, yes Labour!!! will refill the country's coffers by penalising the most vulnerable of us 'cos they can't be seen to be as brutal with business.

Nae worries though, the plebs will absorb the burden so Jeff and Lauren can "almost" hire the whole of Venice for their worthy nuptials using their saved tax pounds.

How soon we forget who kept this country running during the pandemic.

It most certainly was not the Besos' et al of this world, was it?

Simplistic, undoubtedly, even Andrew Neil is concerned about the super rich fleeing the country should there be a wealth tax because they "don't work" it'd be catastrophic, says he.

So how do we raise revenue to fill the pandemic/Tory black hole, aha! lets screw the poor, the disabled, the middle classes any member of our population other than those who could actually make a difference, I'll wager they're not wondering whether to heat or eat. (given the current heatwave, mibbee more eat atm)

They're alright Jack aren't they!

It's late, I'm weary and somewhat emotionalπŸ˜†

I think I may even be on the wrong thread but I'm gonna blame @AnotherShirtRuined ☝️ they started it (sorry lovely) πŸ˜‰πŸ˜†

Enjoy yer bargains, one and all.

eta; jiggling things about
