Oh- and DH bought ready sliced mushrooms. This is more strange than annoying ...

My DH not making enough roast potatoes for dinner. Grrrrrrrr.

Picked up a dress I liked from Click & Collect. Been looking at it for months and it’s in the sale.

It’s a midi in style but reaches my feet. Not convinced that I can take it up without spoiling the proportions.

I am 5’5” so not especially short, but it makes me look very dumpy which was so not how I envisaged it.

DH has in the last few days developed a sudden performative yawn that is half yawn, half loud groan. It makes me jump. Every. Single. Time.

Yes, I know you're there. You're literally inches away from me on the sofa. You don't need to make sudden loud noises to get attention. If you're that fucking tired go to fucking bed.

I forgot to send back clothes by the return date AGAIN

I couldn't find Johnson's makeup wipes anywhere. Yes I know they're not good for the environment etc but I really like them and it really wound me up.

Oh and another thing! I currently have a dead, big toe from the, now missing, nail up (basically it's necrotic, so they're treating it with inadine dressings, which in between hospital visits weekly, I have to do myself 🤢. I injured my toe 3 months ago, was back and forth to the docs then admitted to hospital to find I had a blocked artery! Have had that sorted now, thankfully).
Anyway, the vascular nurse dressed it on Friday, when I had the appointment with the surgeon. It wasn't due for me to do again until Tuesday, but the iodine leaked through yesterday and the dressing looks manky! I can't even look at my toe, so when I take the old dressing off, I have to throw a tissue over it until I'm sorted. I kind of dress it with a squint and by looking past it, not at it! And now I'm miffed I have to do it before I need to, because I can't stand to look at the stained dressing! Wish me luck! 🤢

Cat walked across my yoga mat with wet paws. Left paw prints which did dry up, but it still really irked me.

I’ve just had to share my Aldi Lemon Meringue gelato with my husband and I didn’t want to. The greedy pig that he is!

Circuit class at the gym started around 3 mins late & finished 5 mins early. We could have done another circuit in that time

My homemade Yorkshire puddings looked lovely, tall & fluffy when I looked in the oven. Took them out & within 10 seconds they'd deflated & looked like weird biscuits

Not so lighthearted is the fucking awful day I had at work yesterday & I'm still angry but looking forward to tomorrow when I talk it through with my managers as they are super supportive

@whatwasthatnoise - Spar is dreadful for wine here too. There's a massive laithwaite (?) section but that's all like £40. Never seen a single person buy from there

I have two sore shoulders and one sore knee (hamstring problem). Everything hurts - I can’t lie on either side for long because it hurts the shoulder I’m lying on, and turning over hurts my knee and both shoulders.

The adverts promised me that voltarol gel is a magic potion to relieve all my pains. But it doesn’t work. It doesn’t help at all - and costs an arm and a leg.

Been served after couples and seeing them get the better tables cos I’m a solo female traveller. Fuckers. Just bars/restaurants I won’t grace with my presence again.

Coming home to see that despite working from home all day, my oh hadn't bothered to do the dishes that have been lying there since yesterday. I should add, they were HIS dishes from a bacon sandwich he made yesterday and 2 days breakfast. Yet, there they weee beside the full dishwasher easy for me to unload and reload. It would have taken 5 mins.

They seem to be in short supply at the moment! I got some from Asda on Friday x
