im struggling to understand how he was found not guilty of Sex trafficking but found guilty of ‘transportation for prostitution’ how do these things differ??

As far as i understand sex trafficking is "coercive" and can be violent where as they are saying the people involved were consenting to prostitution. It seems the same thing to me,

The charges were regarding Cassie and 'Jane', ex 'girlfriends'. There was evidence that they planned sex parties and willingly took part in them, therefore they weren't exploited.

When is sentencing? I’d be amazed if he got even ten years, probably not even five.

I read October but there is a pre sentencing hearing soon, I don't understand why sentencing takes so long.

The judge said 0ctober but allowed the defence to request an earlier date, which they did, so they're meeting next week to finalise that.

Sadly he won’t. The max sentence for the guilty verdicts is 10 years for each, but they will most likely run it concurrently so max 10 years. But this is his first time offence and the government have said that federal sentencing guidelines recommend a sentence of at most 5-1/4 years total, which is well below the statutory maximum and
Diddy’a lawyers are arguing that two years would be the outer limit. By the time of sentencing he will have already done a year in jail, so I expected he will likely get a couple of years max. Disgrace and a big mess up by the US government prosecuting.

That alone should have got him put in jail for a long time!!

Hopefully the suggestions that he could get up to 20 years will prove to be true.
