Just wondering who else can do their own back zips up?

I’ve never considered myself particularly flexible but I’ve realised a lot of women can’t zip up their own clothes at the back. Do I have a super power as I can do mine easily?

If I can I tie a bit of cotton or that ribbon you have in clothes that help them being hung up and are annoying so cut them off. And tie them on to the zip and then when needed I use that to do up and down the zip.

I can but I do have extraordinarily long arms! Most long sleeves end up between full length and 3/4 length on me, I tend to buy men’s sweatshirts in a big size to make sure my wrists stay warm when it’s cold!
I definitely don’t think I’m very flexible though.

I struggle as I have a shoulder injury. I usually attach a large safety pin with a bit of string or ribbon to the zip and pull it up that way. I can reach behind my neck to detach it afterwards

That’s a genius solution!

I have no problems with back zips.
But I have a friend who cannot do her bra up in what I think is the ‘normal’ way - arms through straps, bosoms settled into cups and back hooks done up.
She has to put it on around her waist, hook it in front, swivel it round and wriggle it upwards until she can get her arms through the straps.

I can do everything apart from waterpolo swimsuits, but I'm hypermobile and those swimsuits are clearly designed to encourage team bonding

I can.
I can also fasten my bra from the back.
My friends/ sister/ daughters all fasten at front and twist it round.
I can clasp my hands behind my back too and reach to put suncream on.
Dunno if there is a term for being able to do this.

I could when I could dislocate both my shoulders, but now one has three screws in it I can’t reach.

Me.

but I did gymnastics from about age 3 to about age 13 and have very flexible shoulders.

most wetsuits have a ribbon tied to the zip
