I've had tea and defrosted pineapple chunks and cherries, with chopped nuts on top - I'm out of yoghurt.

Will have a second breakfast later, after the Ocado delivery!

Nothing. I last ate breakfast in March because I was on holiday.

I have had an ice cold Pepsi Max though.

Lidlisthebusiness · 22/06/2025 10:28

Raining on and off here in Cornwall. I had coffee, soft boiled eggs and greek yogurt with berries and passionfruit.

DemonsandMosquitoes · 22/06/2025 10:29

Two fried eggs. Cloudy NW.

HelpMeGetThrough · 22/06/2025 10:29

Raining here this morning. Yesterday morning was a thunderstorm and rain.

I’m 5 coffees in this morning, as I woke up at 5am. Time for a cup of tea now.

Breakfast will be 60mg of codeine.

For lunch it will be a glass or two of Rose, probably more codeine.

Living the stoned dream!! 🤪

I sat in the garden in the shade and had a cup of tea and a bowl of porridge with soy milk, collagen powder, dried prunes (just because they taste nice!) and dried apricots. Yesterday I added toasted pumpkin seeds for crunch but just realised I forgot them today.

BrianWankum · 22/06/2025 10:30

Lidl - their low GI brown is also delicious

I think this is objectively the best bread.

Any food, apart from wine, to go with all that codeine? Nice bit of roughage maybe!

Overnight oats with raspberries, apples, plain yogurt and a bit of maple syrup.

Alarae · 22/06/2025 10:35

Avocado on toast with a poached egg.

My bank balance will never recover.

Asabat · 22/06/2025 10:37

An argument with OH and a cup of tea

Buscake · 22/06/2025 10:42

I got McDonald’s breakfast delivered and brought it up to my kids in bed. They reacted like it was Christmas morning 😁

Calyx72 · 22/06/2025 10:42

Fried egg, slice of bacon and square sausage out of the air fryer, beans, and Tiger bread toast with butter. Had it with my vanilla flavoured collagen in unsweetened almond milk. A bit windy and wet in Glasgow. I love these threads so thanks OP Grin

tumblingdowntherabbithole · 22/06/2025 10:43

It's grey and overcast here. I've had two cups of coffee and two crumpets with vegemite and butter.

GranolaDisco · 22/06/2025 10:43

London has been scorchio all week. Another hot day ahead. I had poached eggs on English muffins and an iced coffee. Then M&S coconut ice cream for ‘pud’ Grin.

crazysummertan · 22/06/2025 10:44

McDonald’s , had a shit week and wanted to reward me and the family to a treat.

LadyGrillingSole · 22/06/2025 10:46

3 x coffee, 2 scoops of ice cream and 60mg codeine ( maybe there should be a mumsnet " I'm fucked, so codeine are my smarties " club 🤓) I have MS.

Alltheyellowbirds · 22/06/2025 10:48

A punnet of Tesco Finest cherry tomatoes sautéed in olive oil and black pepper, which were meant to be on sourdough toast but I realised I forgot to buy the bread.

Raining here.

Anzena · 22/06/2025 10:48

I've just taken a loaf of cheesy wholemeal soda bread from the oven. I'll have a couple of slices with real butter + a poached egg in a bit. Doing the 16/8 thing and have breakfast after 11am every day. Smells and looks very good.

I have (unusually) an abundance of options this morning. It’ll either be a slice of quiche I made yesterday (bacon, leek and pecorino), or some nduja on toast with a jammy egg on top, or it will be a Pret cheese, ham and tomato croissant from the freezer. Spoiled for choice!

What is a jammy egg?

AdaColeman · 22/06/2025 10:51

Overcast and sultry here. I've had coffee and raspberry and almond financiers.

I'm envious of the scrambled duck eggs, they definitely make the best, creamiest scrambled eggs!

saveforthat · 22/06/2025 10:51

Malvala · 22/06/2025 10:26

It’s just started raining in Dublin.

I’m having organic duck eggs (bought yesterday direct from the farm) scrambled and two slices of carnivore bread with a cup of rooibos (my only source of plants).

What is carnivore bread?

Not for breakfast or lunch as I don’t normally eat it at the moment.

I had some pretty nasty stomach surgery a few months ago, which I’m still recovering from, any roughage would be, shall we say “interesting”.

Tea tonight is hotdogs though. We were going to have them last night, but we went for fish and chips from our favourite chippy.

dottiedodah · 22/06/2025 10:52

MondaytoSunday I hear you! South Coast , very warm although a cool breeze now.Felt flaked out .Due to have coffee and a walk round stately home.Posted to tomorrow now . Just had toast and Marmite as overslept too late for daily Boiled eggs.

tinyspiny · 22/06/2025 10:52

Sunny SE England and I’ve had 2 soft boiled eggs , which is what I have every day .

JBJ · 22/06/2025 10:56

Smoked salmon, cream cheese and a handful of rocket/watercress/spinach on a toasted wholemeal flatbread.

I was planning homemade pizza for dinner tonight, but my cousin has just invited me for an impromptu BBQ, which sounds much better than putting the oven on!
