What’s the earliest you’d play drums on a Sunday?

I’m awake and my drumming fingers are twitching 😁

What time on a Sunday would your neighbour playing the drums not bother you??

Im thinking maybe…11am? Surely everyone is up by then?

You won't get rational answers here OP - MN hates people making a sound in their garden (unless it's kids screaming playing, then it's fine).

Anything after 10am is fine IMO.

I think also some people like disagree and argue for the sake of it.
I know that there are a wide range of opinions on here and that we are not one hive mind etc.
However, if someone posted saying that they were fed up with their neighbours playing the drums after 10 for an hour on a Sunday many of the seethers (not all) would be saying how unreasonable it is to complaining about noise, you should let people have a hobby, get a life etc etc etc.

Our DC is a drummer.
We don’t allow drumming before 10am on weekends-or weekdays in school holidays.
We invested in a sound absorbing platform which having checked in with our neighbours appears to be a very effective investment.

Could you link me to that please?

Never. Sounds like an absolute nightmare to have happen next door.

11am here (because that’s what I was allowed to do as a teenager and it stuck!)

For maybe two hours a week, and not in the house but an outbuilding about…maybe 30 metres from the row of houses?

10am. And not excessively. It wouldn't bother me if it was for a reasonable duration.
