Neighbour has built a pedastal for their bins

Hello lovely people

The title says it all really! The batshit crazy neighbours have spent 2 hrs, slaving away over a patch of weeds, to lay a broken slab for their Wheelie Bins.
They have a drive wide enough.for 2 cars to reverse up together, so lots of room for the bins, never a problem in the years we have lived here, bin out by the decaying railings every week, but now a lovely broken slab and a bin on proud display!
Now their bins have a Pedastal! DH wants to know what makes their bins special, DSIS wonders if our bins will become envious in some way!!!
Just wondered what other batshit things other peoples neighbours have done, that have made you go hmmm.

What a weird post, I also have an opening in the wall to a paved area for bins, hedged off from the house. Bins on the drive is an unnecessary eyesore.

What a weird thing to be judgemental about.

Their batshit neighbour has spent two hours staring at them weeding their garden and putting down a paving slab, then cared enough to write about it on the internet! You've got to feel for them.

This 😂

How very Darwinian. Do report back...

Well since they put the scarecrow up I've only seen squirrels stealing the bird food but the only window overlooking their garden is in DS's room so I don't look that often.

OK - as long as you're not being pecked to bits by brave and ferocious avians aiming to star in a remake of 'The Birds'. 😋

Maybe they don't like the wheels getting muddy so that when they roll it over their patio or whatever they don't get bin tracks?

I can update, a magpie was hopping behind the scarecrow, looking at it suspiciously I imagine, and there was a bunch of brave sparrows eating from the bird feeder. And 3 beautiful red squirrels clambering over the other feeder.

Glad you're safe. And the birds are being fed. Plus it takes a lot to put squirrels off!
