It's Friday night - what's everyone doing ?

I'm at home with DH. Not sure if I fancy a drink or not as I'm trying to lose weight. Dh has poured a drink for himself. We're booking some flights tonight for a weekend getaway with friends later in the year. DC will be doing own thing. I've got some washing to sort.

Long gone are the messy Friday nights out. I cba with that anymore. Prefer quieter sofa nights with DH. I occasionally long for a mad Friday night out but it's more fomo. I go out for an hour, the pub is too busy/noisy/crowded/ full of idiots and Im ready to go home

I’ve been for a bike ride, eaten a bowl of popcorn and I’m now watching the final Department Q episode

Feeling ill with a continuous cough. DH made passion fruit martinis. I drank two. We watched Back with David Mitchell and now he’s gone for a couple of drinks with two of his friends whilst I am trying to get some sleep ( and failing due to this cough and the heat)!

Went to see LCD soundsystem last night which was excellent, but I definitely can’t party like it’s 2010 any more…..

Watching TV with DH. We are off to the Isle of Wight tomorrow for a 2 night mini break😎
Hoping for sunshine, walking, good food and wine. We splashed out on a hotel room at our favourite hotel with outdoor hot tub so it should be lovely.

Currently in bed with my granddaughter, once she goes to sleep I'll stay here with my kindle.

DP is working this evening so I’m home alone with DD 4 months. I’ve managed to get her off to sleep & I’m enjoying a glass of Rioja and a smoked salmon bagel watching gogglebox. Happy Friday all

Had a healthy dinner and no booze as trying to lose weight. I'm feeling a bit under the weather, so am lolling in bed watching telly in my pants

I have the bedroom window open and I can hear the concert from the stadium and feel like I’m missing out. It’s raining though so I am thinking of the audience as it’s open air.

Sat with my 3 rd wine watching the good ship murders . House all quiet as husband and adult son asleep . It’s lovely . X

Chilling watching telly, it's very warm here. Had a Thai red prawn curry and half a bottle of Rose which were both well-received!

Spent a glorious evening in the garden. Watered the pots, cheeky glass of wine, dinner (which DH cooked) outside. Stayed there till gone 9 when it started to rain. Came in, now sat in the conservatory, watching the bats flying around, listening to thunder and the patter of rain on the roof. Lovely!

Just finished setting up DDs 6th birthday party. DH is making the sandwiches and prepping the food. Dreading having 10 little girls at our house. Every other year we’ve just taken her out for the day but now she’s started to show interest in a party so I said okay. I thought best start with 10 (3 are her cousins) instead of going all in on a full class party with 30 kids. Knocking back the chamomile teas to try and chill out.

Travelled cross-country to be with DP's parents this weekend. Chilling out after dinner.

Made an easy pasta dinner and a nice long walk with the dog, got kids to bed, then I started into some junk food while watching tv, and bed by 10pm!
