What can you hear right now?

I am sitting in the garden listening to wood pigeons, house sparrows, skylarks, a radio in the distance and the sound of my five year old "Goy"ing in his swing, he is profoundly disabled and "Goy" is his happy sound. Every time I ask if he wants "more" he smiles which is his way of saying "yes".

5Live on the radio in the kitchen a couple of rooms away, county cricket on the TV and bloody tinnitus 😖

Birds singing, the infernal droning of the distant motorway, someone nearby mowing the grass, the barely audible sound of a train rumbling by, and the chop chop chop of a helicopter overhead.

Local news on the television, birds tweeting outside and my heavy footed dd up and down the stairs and making noise in the kitchen

Nothing, because I've taken my hearing aids out to give my poor ears a rest LOL.😊The silence is deafening!

The bbc news, chiffchaffs, a pheasant, a muntjac in the back field, ds cursing his computer game. 😊

I love hearing children playing outdoors this time of year.

A beautiful blackbird which has added a really amusing squeal to his repertoire. It makes me smile every time.
