Has anyone else noticed this? I've seen a marked increase in people wearing them - in the bank and on transport for example.

Have I missed something?

You sound deranged, maybe stop getting your information from conspiracy forums. Wearing masks didn't ruin countless lives. I'll ask you again, why does it upset or affect you if I or anyone else wear a mask?

best of luck to you 🕊️✌️🫡

I'd wear it on a flight as dccaught covid recently flying back from Turkey & was knocked out for a week. So in an enclosed space with recycled air like public transport, it's advisable to wear a mask. You'll see a spike in covid cases after the summer holidays.

I've no opinion on whether people mask on flights, do what you prefer, but does your DD really know where she caught covid? That would take a very specific set of life circumstances.

Thankfully I've not noticed this where I lived. I don't care if its the Black Plague, I'm not doing that nonsense ever again.

Natural selection

Agreed. Completely obsessed and derogatory

Covid and flu are doing the rounds atm. 2 members of my family have been very poorly for the last 4 weeks with covid. Both tested positive for 2 weeks after being ill for a week and deciding to do a test. 1 is on the mend, the other still exhausted. Both very fit, in their 30s.
A friend's parent has recently died, another is in hospital with post flu pneumonia. Aged 70.
A really nasty strain of covid is doing the rounds in SE Asia.
I am immunosuppressed and I have been wearing a mask when I have to go on public transport and for blood tests etc. I know it isn't much help, because other people are still coughing and spluttering over me, but I hope it is better than nothing.
