Seems warm enough here in the South East.
Or will it get darker on?

No. I only had a sheet left out because everything else was dry and that was brought in when the wind wrapped it around the line several times and it started raining.

I often hang mine out before going to bed in summer! Saves time in the morning. Unfortunately it is windy and drizzly here in north Wales tonight!

Toomanydogwalks · 31/05/2025 22:02

I washed my reusable shopping bags earlier on (rock n roll), they’ll be getting darked on tonight….living life on the edge.

Just put my airer out( no garden) purposely because it's warm and dry
it was outside last night, but I forgot to bring it in.

MaySheWillStayRestingInMyArmsAgain · 31/05/2025 22:10

I was going to set a machine load to wash overnight, but I’ll do it now and put it out before my bedtime.

Thank you in advance for my guilt-free lie-in in the morning.

WingBingo · 01/06/2025 09:34

Load I put out last night was dry when I got up. Next load is out and will be dry before the rain comes!

IwantmyReptv · 01/06/2025 09:43

I leave mine out overnight all year round as long as it's not raining.
I would only bring in favourite items in case they are stolen, although nothing has been pinched yet.

Spiders don’t have willies.

Spiders don’t have willies.

It's another daft thing from mumsnet folklore, not meant to be a spider fact.

Justploddingonandon · 01/06/2025 09:58

I don’t. Spider willies don’t bother me, but anything left out is likely to be stolen by foxes.

EveryOtherNameTaken · 01/06/2025 10:05

I did and everything's dry and I can put another lot out now.

I did underwear yesterday which I don't mind darked on or spider willy'd but sheets I like sunned on and unwilly'd.

Yes pretty sure it’s going to get darker later on. It’s called night time.

NerrSnerr · 01/06/2025 10:12

I always leave mine out overnight and also
often when there are rain showers as they’ll dry eventually.

We visited my MIL the other day and she told me how her neighbour is awfully lazy and left towels out for TWO WHOLE DAYS AND NIGHTS. She was horrified (she’s also horrified that I don’t iron her darling son’s clothes!)

No, my eyesight is crap.

🤯 I have only ever washed my reusable bags when something spills.

I feel such a minger!

MegaClutterSlut · 01/06/2025 21:31

Ive left my washing out once over night and in the morning it had loads of tiny spiders on the clothes so haven't done it since
