How much money could disappear from your bank account without you noticing?

I’m genuinely curious. How much money would have to disappear for you to notice?

I see a few people check every day, I'm surprised. I maybe check 1 or 2 times a week, thought that was pretty vigilant.

It takes less than a minute to check my balances on my phone so I just do it out of habit every day.

Zero - my banking app notifies me of all transactions in real time; and I check my account regularly. Any transaction I don't recognise I would query immediately.

Nothing. I know everything that comes in and everything that goes out.

Like others, my app shows me money going out or coming in, so I'd notice a transaction I hadn't made more or less straight away.

I'd say a few hundred too. I'm lucky to be fairly comfortable and to not have to watch e ery penny, but checking my bank account daily wouldn't do my mental health any favours, my mum was very shaming about spending she deemed frivolous or a treat and I still feel that little tug of guilt whenever I see any money going out.

I check my account a few times a month, and generally have a 3-4 figure float in there, so it could be a few weeks before I noticed anything. I look carefully at the transactions when I log in so I'd notice it when I check my account.

I don't keep the app in my phone and it's a bit fiddly to log in through the website, so that's why I don't log in more often. That and the fact most income and expenditure is the same most months.
