How are you spending the Bank Holiday?

I have this week off work as I work in a school. My plan today is to give the house a good clean, list some things on Vinted I’ve been meaning to get round to and try and keep DD entertained.
DP is working today, the weathers a bit rubbish so might have a movie afternoon with DD.
What about all of you?

Cravey whereabouts did you go? We love Turkey! Been twice & my favourite trip was Olu Deniz.

We went to icemeler, last minute deal, children have had the best time so totally worth it. Will definitely go back it’s a stunning country.

I am hitting Vinted too OP, sorting the house out ready for dd1 returning from union in a weeks time and trying to make a few £ towards our holiday.

We went out yesterday and Saturday so we are staying in today, the weather isn’t great anyway.

Cravey our 2nd holiday was to Icmeler. I quite fancy Antalya next time.

Not bothered - the weather’s not great, DP is working, public transport/places are on limited timetables, am trying to stick to a budget, and we have other things planned this week.

What bank holiday?

(This is the one us in Scotland swap for a dark, wet, grey January 2nd so we can nurse a bigger hangover. I wish we didn't.)

We went to a music festival Saturday and Sunday with the teens, then today ds wanted to show us this American diner just outside Skipton (about an hour away) so we went there for lunch and had a mooch around the area. It's been a great weekend, me and dh both back to work tomorrow, kids are off all week.

I watched DH park his skinny backside in multiple recliner chairs in 2 large Motorhome/ caravan dealerships. He thankfully bought one. Had a car picnic. Fell asleep in the car on way back and woke up feeling like a grumpy toddler.

LFC parade went past the end of our road so me and DS went out about 10 minutes before the bus came back. Weather was grim!

On holiday in Turkey eating and drinking too much but it’s all excellent

@RabbitsRock , can you take an antihistamine for the itching? Sounds awful, poor you! X
