It's spring time for the Playmobil people in our house...

... and love is in the air! This week there is a spring wedding fair, so I will be bringing you all the scenes from it for the next 7 days.

Julian and Toby hire out wedding cars. Gregor and Kirsty take a look. Julian is showing them this luxurious limousine.

I expect same sex weddings are legal. I've not really thought about it. This set has a ring bearing dog. 71365.jpg (720×504) so Playmo have definitely thought of that.
There is a sort of gazebo in this set - I used it as part of the background for the caterers. 4308.jpg (400×376)

They haven't really produced any chair and table decorations though. I suppose I could have just done some bunches of flowers in vases for the tables, but it's a bit late now!

Men's outfits - you may have to wait and see.

We seem to have more brides than grooms, so maybe we'll have a lesbian wedding at some point! So many ideas. I think at this rate I'll be doing another wedding fair next year with all the new suggestions!

This might be out there as an idea but what about an animal wedding?

An animal wedding? I've never heard of that? What happens exactly - does your cat marry your dog or what? I'm intrigued now!

I think it’s more American lol but I think dogs or whichever animal get married and I’ve heard of women just getting married to themselves

Haha, maybe Apollo should marry Brandy! Getting married to oneself sounds rather self-centred! I'm not sure the Playmo people would go for that...

@SoMuchToBits , will your Playmo bride and groom be sending us an official invitation ?
You could perhaps do a little one off invite scene a few weeks before ? Then we can all put it on our calendar and get the blue wine in.. 😀

@Laska2Meryls that sounds like a great idea! You may have to wait a while for this wedding though. I need time to plan all the details and then set up the scenes. I'd say we might be looking at around September time...

A September wedding sounds perfect! The weather is hopefully still nice, just the right temperature and the trees still have their leaves

Lets just hope it doesn't rain! Although curiously it never does seem to rain in Playmoland, despite all the trees and flowers growing beautifully...

It probably just rains a bit at night - on nights when there are no outdoor events planned only.
