As title says - there is so much on there, what has been brilliant?

All genres welcome!

House of cards - if you can stomach Kevin Bacon

Wrong Kevin! Nothing wrong with Bacon
house of Cards is Kevin Spacey

it was the first thing I watched on Netflix and the first few series are incredible

The Handmaid’s Tale is outstanding. As is Stranger Things. There are multiple series of each though, they’ll take ages to get through!

seconding (thirding etc)
schitts creek
baby reindeer
adolescence
the queen’s gambit
squid game
Toxic town
nobody wants this
Bridgerton
maid
queer eye (I prefer the earlier series to the latest ones)

I am also really enjoying Love on the Spectrum

Agree with both of these but if you watch Top Boy you gotta start with Top Boy Summerhouse.

Maid, Adolescence

Sosbanfachtheresatellyinmybath · 27/04/2025 20:29

I've just finished Stranger Things and absolutely loved it, can't wait for series 5! I really enjoyed Dexter, Lucifer and Dark too.

Vodkamartini3olives · 27/04/2025 20:29

Love in the spectrum is fabulous & feel good tv
I have disagree with others. Adolescence is an example of an average show with really bad acting and a predictable story line with a fab PR machine behind it.

Very good point. We didn’t realise and did two episodes and then had to skip back and start at Summerhouses.

OrangeAndPistachio · 27/04/2025 20:37

You - so awful it's brilliant.
The crown - the first few series are particularly good.
Superstore - funny and underrated.
