If I say "See you next Saturday" on Thursday... When will I see you?

To me "this Saturday" is in two days, next Saturday is the one after...

Quite. Easter Saturday this year is 26 April, the Saturday of Easter week. Most people will use it to mean 19 April 2025.

I'd be aware people might interpret this differently so would ask which one you meant.

Yes, but usually instead of 'this Saturday' I'd say 'see you on Saturday'. Next anything always means the one after this one (to me!)

We refer to “Good Wednesday” onwards, so we know we’re talking about the week in the run up to Easter 😂

I would assume the same as you, but would always double check because some people (not unreasonably tbh) use “next Saturday” to mean the next Saturday that we will get to.

Next Saturday is Saturday of next week. This Saturday is the day after tomorrow. It's all a bit fluid though.

Disagree - the week starts on Monday- Sunday is part of the weekend ie the end of the week.

I agree with you on that, I wouldn’t ever call it Easter Saturday. However if someone talks about Easter Saturday I would assume they are referring to the day after Good Friday, not the Saturday after.

A week and two days. If you were seeing me this weekend, I'd expect you to say "See you Saturday"

I would also assume they were inaccurately referring to the day after Good Friday. If there is a day that could be called Easter Saturday it would be 9 days from now, the Saturday of Easter week. But pretty much never correct to call any day Easter Saturday.
