What age child drew these?

Lighthearted, it obviously doesn’t matter but what age would you think these were by?

I have absolutely zero drawing ability, neither does DH or our other DC (yet) so I thought these were amazing.

Ohdearwhatnow4 · 01/03/2025 14:24

13/14

MargaretThursday · 01/03/2025 14:25

I'd say those look similar to what I've seen for GCSE art.

Fizbosshoes · 01/03/2025 14:26

I would guess year 7 or 8, from the subject.

fruitpastille · 01/03/2025 14:27

I was going to say gcse art. So a teenager is what I'd expect. They look great!

DownWhichOfLate · 01/03/2025 14:28

I’d also say GCSE age, so around 14/15 but with a talent for it! Fantastic 😃

Cotswoldmama · 01/03/2025 14:43

14ish

GroovyChick87 · 01/03/2025 14:47

Looks GCSE level but I reckon they're younger and good at drawing. 14?

YesThatsATurdOnTheRug · 01/03/2025 14:52

They're fantastic! I definitely couldn't do anywhere near that well at 40!

MadeForThis · 01/03/2025 15:11

15?

PhasednotFazed · 01/03/2025 15:13

14?

MaggieBsBoat · 01/03/2025 15:13

My artist daughter would’ve done something of similar quality at 12/13.

healthybychristmas · 01/03/2025 15:13

They are really good but you are going to have your arse handed to you on here for even thinking that your child might have any talent at anything at all! People will be saying that their children could've done that prior to going to junior school.

theboffinsarecoming · 01/03/2025 15:14

A naturally good at art 11/12?

ChaoticGremlin · 01/03/2025 15:16

Do we ever find out the age of the children on threads like these?

All I see is "how old was the child who did this..." (not that it really matters unless it was a 2 year old with excellent fine motor skills) and then that's it (not that I keep up with them tbf)

They are really good and if your DC is interested in art, I hope they keep it up. I just don't really understand threads like this.

Dillythedallyduck · 01/03/2025 15:22

It's really good, I'd say early secondary y7 or y8 so 11-13.

RosaAna · 01/03/2025 15:24

They are really good, much better than I could do. Maybe GCSE?

SnugglyJumpersMakeItBetter · 01/03/2025 15:26

I would be amazed if it was someone under 14. They are excellent. I can't draw to save my life.

wishingyouthesame · 01/03/2025 15:26

She’s 11, turning 12 in a couple of weeks.

Struggling academically and with the transition to senior school so is very stressed and increasingly lacking confidence.
I’m happy she’s finding something she enjoys and is good at.

Amazing, what a talent.
I hope things get easier for her at school. It can be a very difficult transition.

She’s really talented; these are fantastic for a kid her age. Really good and her style is very mature.

Maxorias · 01/03/2025 15:30

I would try to get her lessons if that's not already the case

Yes they're really good for her age then, well any age really because I'm 52 and couldn't manage anything like this.
Definitely encourage this!
