Good morning from Newcastle! I'm currently drinking my first cuppa of the day, made by dd1, in bed in a Travelodge. It's not as peaceful as usual but not a bad way to start the day 😊. I'll jump up and shower when dd's done in there.

We were here for a tiny tiny gig last night & plan to spend the day wandering. Dd1 wants to visit Sephora & Primark. I'm not really sure where we're wandering to if anyone has any suggestions? We were planning to visit Durham but trains are not stopping there & I don't think I cba to spend an hour of the day on rail replacement buses 🤔

Dd2 stayed at home with their dad & didn't want to do anything with the day when I asked her what their plans were last night 🤷‍♀️. I did suggest maybe they wander to Lidl for pancake toppings - we'll see!

Just after tea time ish train home for us & it'll probably be cuppa and bed for me 💤

Oops I'm late today, Good afternoon instead!

It's beautifully sunny here today and finally feels like spring has arrived.

We've walked to the flower shop for some gorgeous tulips, stopped off at the bakery for hot cross buns and dc had a play at the park.

I've given my kitchen a much needed declutter and now have all of the duvet covers in for a wash. I always feel so much more productive when it's sunny.

Plan for this afternoon is an everything shower, nails and eyebrows and a few glasses of wine tonight with bgt.

Dropped DD to work early this morning. I got home and discovered I'd no house key to let myself in (long story). I had to go back to DD's workplace and borrow hers. Had a quick breakfast and then went for my hair appointment.

Got back and fed DCats their lunch. DCat1 is having a post-lunch nap in his basket upstairs. DCat2 is washing herself in front of the sitting room window.

Going to have a cuppa and read my bookclub book for 30 minutes. Then hit Tesco for the weekly shop.

Good Afternoon. Day off from work.
We left the house at half seven to go to Aldi. Home by 10 after stopping at Poundstretcher too.
Put a Lamb Shank in the slow cooker for tomorrow. Greggs for Lunch. Planning to watch some horse racing shortly...

Just found a lump of marzipan from a trip to Europe last autumn and just scoffed it with a cup of coffee under my heated blanket the scales won't be my friend at next weigh in!

Just having a nice relaxed day today avoiding all shops as they make me spend money 😆

It's my birthday 🎂. Just started my day. I'm home alone, Dh & kids away, so I've ordered McDonald's for breakfast. I got a new paddleboard, so I'm going to take it out for a spin. Then I plan to make hot dogs and sit in bed with wine watching TV.

DD and I had our little mini half term trip midweek - we went to Glasgow to see SIX and stayed overnight - so we really should be catching up.
Got up, unloded dishwasher, had breakfast and went over to Greggs in Tesco to see my friend, her partner and some other friends for coffee.
Got back, loaded washing machine. Set off for a bike ride with DD, got so far and chain came off so walked bike back and DH sorted it - sthg to do with gears on the bike that I have never understood.
Set off again and had lunch at McD at Gosforth Park, got back and watched an old episode of Waterloo Road with DD and some chocolate, then DH joined us.
I am still recovering from the cycling - why am I supposed to like it?
DH didn't dhave much luck this morning either - some freight train had broken down on the Sunderland line so the metro could hardly run (that bit shares a line) so he got the bus back and that broke down!

DS is away out on the metro round the coast.
DD has disappeared to her A level revision now; I said we could go and see Mad About the Boy but not sure anyone's bothered.
Done hardly any housework except to brng washing in and out!

Well.... I haven't done anything at all today, except starting an online grocery order. Mr Dilemma did his little trip to Sainsbury's.. his shopping list consisted of:
Cat food
Bread
Orange juice
Grapes

He came back having spent £54!!! Most of that was treat food which I am trying very hard not to buy. Crunchy nut cornflakes, jaffa cakes, crisps, that kind of thing. Apparently it's because I have been eating hardly anything. My appetite has been reduced because I haven't been doing anything! And if I was choosing the treats it wouldn't be those things anyway. At least he got the cat food.

My poor sister is still in hospital - I don't think it's because she needs to be, I think it's because it's Saturday and there isn't a surgeon around to discharge her. She will probably end up in there all weekend!

The weather has been beautiful today, but cold! Frost is expected tonight as well. Our crocuses (crocii?) have started to come out and we have primroses, but no daffodils or blackthorn blossom yet. I'm looking forward to the first haze of green on the trees I can see from my bedroom window.

Good morning, well its afternoon now.

We’ve had a busy day, rugby, dance class, birthday party to attend, so we haven’t been back home long. Theres been a funny ‘incident’ though, my husband went for lunch at a friends and his wife who works in beauty offered to tint and perm his eyelashes, now my husband is Jamie Laing style blonde, he now has big black eyelashes, I can’t look at him without laughing, which he of course really appreciates, he’ll enjoy having the piss taken at work next week!
