What’s for dinner tonight? Need some inspiration.

DH on the way to shops, my mind is blank, fancy something that feels a bit special.

What’s everyone else having?

Egg, chips and mushy peas.

Thai green chicken curry with loads of veg and homemade prawn gyoza.

We had chilli, and it was lovely

That sounds delicious, what pasta do you use?

Home made leek and potato soup, sour dough baguette

Sometimes the simple ones are the best one's..runny yolk to dip chips into lovely.

Sea bass, baby potatoes and stir fried veg followed by grilled fresh pineapple and crème fraîche.

We had beetroot burgers from Speedy BOSH & they were brilliant - the steaming before frying sounds like it would be a faff, but it's quick, & cooks them in to lovely robust burgers. Served with air fryer wedges.

I did have slow cooker rice pud ready, & fresh jam from Bilhana (amazing book, recommend) but we were too stuffed so that's breakfast...

We've all eaten differently tonight which is unusual.

Dh and ds1 Japanese take away
Dd2 out with friends- pizza
Dd1 working so whatever she had there
Ds2 been a party- fish and chips
Me- pea and ham soup with baguette

Me too. It was a vegan version but I didn't have kidney beans in so I chucked butter beans and roasted tofu chunks in for a change.
Tinned pineapple for desert.

DH is doing spicy sausage and bean casserole made with organic fennel and chilli sausages from the Green Butcher, mushrooms, yellow pepper and kidney beans.

On the side will be flat green beans, brocolli and carrots.

I'm relaxing and enjoying not cooking.

M&S haddock in batter jacket spuds broccoli peas and corn. Easy

We had roast chicken, gravy, roast tatties and green beans.
I made a lemon drizzle cake while the chicken was roasting. If I hadn't made a cake I would have made Yorkshire puddings. I couldn't do both as the amount of dishes /bowls was already out of control!

I LOVE pineapple on pizza but never think of it when having pizza at home for some reason! Tonight I went for goats cheese, onions and peppers.
