This must be a scam but wtf kind of scam is this - booking.com listing

Sorry for the massive link! I am looking for a place to rent whilst working in LDN next week and stumbled upon this interesting offer..... Booking.com has quite a lot of scams, I know, but wtf is this? 😂

Money laundering scam. They put up a property no one will ever book, get friend/Associates to make bookings. Mark as paid in cash...et voila, legitimate funds obtained.

Even as a joke to shame someone or seems too much, money laundering is the only real possibility 🤔

I couldn't see it either on booking.com and googled it and it's on loads of hotel booking sites... Grim...

My assumption is that someone is trying to shame and scare Rajaa by showing the world their messy apartment and inviting people to come over in person. Or Rajaa is somehow trying to prove their place isn't that messy and people will want to stay there. Either way, it looks like the home of someone with hoarding/MH issues and while I don't think it's necessarily a scam I do think something sad is going on
