Teething & loose stools???

Since Tuesday my 8month old has been so clingy, upset, and unsettled during the night. Then yesterday the loose stools started! She had 6+ dirty nappies, wasn’t interested in much solid food, is really sore down below and just seemed miserable. I’ve noticed she’s been drooling so much recently, wanting to chew her whole hand and anything she could - just wondering if these loose stools could be teething related? I’m going crazy 😩

@Superscientist Okay Thankyou I’ll look in my local pharmacy tomorrow although they tend to just have name brand stuff which is annoying, they charged me almost £6 for teething powder😅

In my local pharmacy they tend to have the branded stuff on the shelves and the own brand behind the counter. It's sometimes a bigger bottle so looks the same price but is better value.

I use the boots in the train station most of the time as they usually have own brand on the shelves. Ibuprofen usually isn't a problem flavour wise but I have been caught out once before with a disgusting cherry flavour paracetamol. For paracetamol I now check the flavour too!

@Superscientist that happened with my son once, I wondered why he suddenly wasn’t taking it then realised I had a completely different flavour to normal now I’m really vigilant checking

My daughter has had a fever from teething as well as loose poos and nappy rash, it's brutal. I think we underestimate how painful it is for them! Her cheeks would be bright red and then the fever, but it stopped as quickly as it started and then a new tooth. She's currently cutting her last molars and it's been on-off for months!

@southenglandartist hearing that gives me a bit more reassurance I just worry so much due to my health anxiety it makes me think all sorts of things when she’s not herself :( my son was completely different I barely knew he was teething until the day before a tooth popped
