calling someone and it says the mobile phone you have called is switched off then says the person is currently unavailable

Text the number. Normally they don't go through if the number is blocked. If the phone is in service they will.

Okay I've just texted it says...."Waiting to connect. Check options" when I click on options it says. Sending and with a circle like it is waiting to load and underneath that says "Stop sending and delete." Have I been blocked?

Also next to check options it has like a stopwatch or an alarm clock next to it....

Yes @TwinklyLilacTraybake you have been blocked or the number doesn't exist now. Either way you are not contacting her anymore. Move on.
