Dermot O’ Leary
Allison Hammond
Johnathan Ross
Ant & Dec
Katherine Ryan

No problem with Andy Murray, but I'd also love a drink with his mother Judy Murray. She's not only the mother and sometime manager of both Andy and Jamie Murray, but also a formidable women's rights and human rights campaigner in her own right.

frozendaisy · 02/02/2025 19:29

I reckon Julian Clary after a few G&Ts would be fun

HundredPercentUnsure · 02/02/2025 19:31

Sir David Attenborough
Prince Harry (minus Meghan)
Nick Knowles

Rina66 · 02/02/2025 19:32

Marina Hyde
Claudia Winkleman
Amanda Holden
Richard Osman
Paul Chowdray
Graham Norton

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 02/02/2025 19:33

Jesus (for limitless wine).

Actually could also probably be entertaining with magic tricks using beer mats etc.

EternalSunshine19 · 02/02/2025 19:34

Kate Moss, i don't think i'd need anyone else. Probably have a lock in until sunrise the next day

Strikeback · 02/02/2025 19:34

Alive - Victoria Coren Mitchell
Dead - Kenneth Williams. I cried when he died

Yirk · 02/02/2025 19:35

Ricky Gervais.
Rylan.
Billy Connoly.
Jo Whiley.
Charity Dingle.

Actually, Bill and Hillary Clinton would be good.

Would it? Every time I see them it looks like they barely tolerate one another. Could be awkward 😬.

Boris and Steve Mangan

FaithFables · 02/02/2025 19:23

JK Rowling
Jennifer Lawrence
Ryan Reynolds
Martina Cole
Trevor McDonald
Jennifer Aniston/Courtney Cox
Chris Hemsworth.

If I was within striking distance of a shot on Chris Hemsworth I wouldn't be pissing about in the pub.

@beencaughttrollin lot of ♥️ for Judy Murray. And the amount of flack she got from the papers, particularly in A&Js early days was horrendous and would never have happened if she'd been a man. But she took it all on with aplomb.

I have met Andy Murray at a charity tennis day thing where my kids (and other kids) were coached by him, Jamie and his mum. He was so nice and so smiley and chatty. I think he's one of those people who is just deeply uncomfortable being in front of the camera.

I think good company would be:
Claudia Winkleman
Olivia Colman
Alan Carr
Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen
Stacey Solomoin

TheScottishPlay · 02/02/2025 19:41

Bob Mortimer
Alison Steadman
Morten Harket (circa 1985!)
Matt Tebbutt, Helen and Ollie from Saturday Kitchen

rollon20again · 02/02/2025 19:41

I'd have a pint with Ant and Dec

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 02/02/2025 19:45

@CharityShopChic he does have the most brilliant self deprecating sense of humour but I think a lot of people overlook it.

I would also like Rylan and Kathy Burke, preferably together. And Clive Myrie too.

Angela Rayner

PonkyPonky · 02/02/2025 19:46

Chris Kamara
Phil Tuffnell
Matt off the Simon Mayo radio show

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 02/02/2025 19:48

@shellyleppard Anyone you think would be good company. Can be dead, alive or somewhere in between.

@WitcheryDivine I'd love it if Craig came with Anton. They make a great double act.

I was with you until Andy Murray! Glowering mute with nothing to talk about but his boring serve statistics? No, sports people are usually deathly dull and have never learned to drink.

I would take your top three and add in Daisy May Cooper, Queen Camilla and Bob Mortimer.

Andy Murray is actually a very funny and sound guy. He just doesn't behave like a performing monkey for lots of the press who were very scathing of him in the early stages of his career. I'd love to hang out in the pub with him, his wife and his mum. They'd be great company.

Also on my table at the pub would be Claudia Winkleman, Richard Osman and Marina Hyde, Oti and Motsi Mabuse, Katherine Ryan, Michaela Cole, Darren McGarvey, Jo Rowling and Grayson Perry.

I have been for drinks with LLB; he is brilliant fun.

powershowerforanhour · 02/02/2025 19:50

Emilia Clarke
Mila Kunis
Taron Egerton
the late June Brown (Dot Cotton actress)

shellyleppard · 02/02/2025 19:51

@AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta somewhere in between....🤣🤣
