For me I would take:

Claudia Winkleman.
Romesh Ranganathan.
Sir Greyson Perry.
Andy Murray.
Marian Keyes.
Floella Benjamin.

@Screamingabdabz 😂 I was waiting for someone to come and lambast poor Andy, you were quicker than I thought!

I do ♥️ Bob but would love it if he brought Paul and Ted too.

Definitely Queen Camilla, even though she'd probably drink us all under the table.

There is no way I will never stop thinking of Queen Camilla as being a hippo from the kid's film "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and the Island of Misfit Toys". When my kids were little they must have watched it a hundred times. I still have the song that Jamie Lee Curtis sang burning through my brain at Christmas time.

Definitely not Grayson Perry. He's such a creep!

It's not that he's a transvestite; it's the Bo Beep style of dresses that he wears. I don't like men parading their fetish in public. Dressing like a little girl seems perverted to me. He's openly admitted that he used to get an erection from dressing like that in public and that the style of dress helped him to hide it.

Yuck!

David Mitchell. Totally agree on Andy Murray being one of the dullest people ever.

You can't be a tennis fan then!

I've never met him personally but I've been at one of his exhibition matches in Glasgow and I've been at some of his competitive matches on court in both Glasgow and Nottingham.
And there was absolutely nothing dull about him at all. Really great interaction with the spectators.

Dawn French
Susan Calman
Billy Connolly
Robson Green (I actually ignored him in a pub. I was playing drinking games with my family and the landlord said he wanted to join in).

Another vote for Jo Brand, I've always liked her.

I always suspect Craig Revel Horwood could tell you all the gossip about everyone. But I’d go with Shirley and Motsi with Aljaz mixing the cocktails.

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 02/02/2025 19:20

Johnny Vaughan. He can't half prattle, and I love a story teller. I've liked him since his Moviewatch days.
Liza Tarbuck is a lot like a couple of friends, so I'm sure I'd enjoy her company.

frozendaisy · 02/02/2025 19:20

Usain Bolt
Another for Bob Mortimer
Iggy Pop
Selena Gomez
Keanu Reeves
Sarah Millican
And even though I don't like him at all, Boris Johnson

frozendaisy · 02/02/2025 19:21

The late, great, Paul O'Grady

anotherpain · 02/02/2025 19:22

Bob Mortimer would be my no1 choice. I literally cannot think of anyone else I'd wish to go to the pub with.
