I can't listen to A Town Called Malice without thinking of Billy Elliot and wanting to do some tap dancing 💃 and then watch the movie again.

Fallen by Lauren Wood from Pretty Woman. I bloody love that song and used to play it on the pub jukebox incessantly!

TV not film, but Don't Look Back in Anger always makes me think of Geordie crossing the Tyne Bridge alone at the end of Our Friends In the North. I felt so sorry for his character.

Also for instrumentals I think the soundtracks to Amelie and Vicky Cristina Barcelona are both hugely distinctive and fantastic.
