Tomorrow is the day I must get my shit together

Dd has been off sick but she's fine to go back to school tomorrow

The house is a tip, both up and downstairs. Every room needs cleaning 😫

Need to order some paint

Need to get some food in

Need to do some self care

Need to take some stuff to the tip

Need to paint my bedroom

Need to do more laundry 🙄

And I'm just sat here, laying down no idea how I'm gonna get started

What have you got to do? Also, motivate me please 😄😫

I have decided I CBA to go into the office and will work from home instead.

I guess it's already 'tomorrow'.
I'm going to visit my son for a couple days who lives on the Isle of Wight. He will be at work (he's got the Friday off), so I'm going to have lunch with a friend, walk the dog by the beach and then go meet him at work and out for a nice dinner. Have I packed? No. Found all his Christmas presents I'm to take with me (he's doesn't have a car and too heavy/bulky to take on his motorbike). No. So I should stop scrolling on Mumsnet and get some sleep as I'll be up early!

Tons,whole of the house needs to be hoovered and dusted
Front door and back need a wipe.
Bathroom and kitchen need to be cleaned.
Both Dogs need a bath
Both Dog beds need to be washed and dried.
Laundry needs to be put away.
Some self care.

Fingers crossed after all of that I should sleep well tomorrow night.

Huge day at work. Back to back meetings, write up some mid-year appraisals that I didn't get to yesterday, respond to about 30 emails I didn't get to yesterday and prep for a conference next week.
But I also need to finish early to take DS to a doctors appointment, do the weekly shop after that and go to a fitness class in the evening.
So much going on in my brain I can't sleep now and so will be doing it all on half a battery in the morning.
I honestly feel like phoning in sick and just staying in bed (which will actually just make matters worse because all the above work jobs still need doing by the end of the week, with another full on day on Friday)

First of all I'll be getting my 16yo out of bed to go to college (they have ASD and mornings are always their worst time).

Then a quick shower then off to the local hospital for an ECG and blood tests. I have a heart condition which has been getting worse recently so my GP is sending me for a variety of tests while we wait on my referral to cardiology. I get a 24h blood pressure monitor next week.

Bless all of you who have health issues to deal with,it's horrible. "Hoovering"😱, I vacuumed and dusted everywhere yesterday. It's usually a big clean every Friday, but I work volunteering for our local councillor, and have a huge amount of council leaflets to deliver. You can't do it in the rain, they get ruined ,so am hoping to do them tomorrow morning. Takes 90 minutes with 2 of us, going full pelt and walking 3 miles (hoping to go out for lunch haven't done that since my birthday in October, thanks to Rachel from accounts)

Survive

Recently found out I’m pregnant with #3. My toddler was up loads last night, I am exhausted and feel like death warmed up.

We’re all ill. Somehow I’ve got to fit in a full day of work, school and nursery runs, doctors appointment for the baby, laundry, cleaning, making dinner and trying to get better so I can be more productive.

So we made it to school on time - i was up so late and so was dd, I was worried 😟

I've cleaned the floor of my bedroom and the hallway

I cooked dinner

That's all I've done! 😳😳😫😫

🙌🙌🙌 did you get it all done? I feel like I've been out of work for so long it all sounds so exhausting. Even when I was working I struggled, probably due to my (then undiagnosed) autism

But if you're enjoying work, it could be fun to take the promotion - maybe see if you'd have the ability to go back to current job if you don't like it? x

Haha it's roughly a every other day situation, DH starts touching my bum more often in the day and giving me puppy dog eyes 😂
I could probably be happy with twice a week and him every day. We have an unspoken compromise 😂

Definitely need to hoover and go to Tescos, as well as a few hours work. Bathroom installer popping in for a few mins to go through things before he starts on Monday. Ideally go out and get some paint brushes and a bathroom cabinet. Not sure the latter will happen.

I have three things to do.

1 - work.

2 - watch the finale of Traitors.

3 - think of a plausible reason to give to my former fellow committee members to explain why I have just resigned, without telling them that actually, the only real reason is that I just can't be arsed to do it any more.

I went 2 years once, started salivating over Poldark regularly, Pavlov style! Can't imagine 6.5 years!

Currently working a night care shift then home at 7am to take over from DH as he has a mtg wfh and drop DC off at school. Morning nap, bit of housework then off to another job for 1pm for an afternoon for 5 hours. Finally home and weekend free, yey!
