Can Anyone Recommend a Restaurant in Covent Garden

My DSis and I are taking my DM85 to see the Lion King in March for her birthday. We thought we would have an early dinner before we go home (we are seeing a matinee performance). Last year we did something similar and ate in the Delaunay which I really wasn't keen on.

DM uses a walker as she's a bit wobbly on her feet so wondered if anyone had any ideas where we could take her. We have also eaten in the Palm Court Brasserie which is nice but a bit cramped for DM to get around.

Cinnamon Bazaar is excellent. Also le Garrick bistro - opposite the Garrick Club. Excellent food and reasonable prices for the areas

Pasta Brown! Amazing, authentic Italian food - a proper family owned restaurant. Doesn’t look impressive from the outside but it’s a real hidden gem.

We went to the ivy Covent garden yesterday for lunch, v good service and kids made to feel special... lots of space between the tables which is really unusual in a restaurant these days... hadn't been to the og ivy before so it was a special lunch and a memory banked x

The trickiest thing to check out is usually access to the loos. So many soon the centre are up it down steep staircase.

Exactly this. The Delaunay was great for the toilets and space between the tables but the food was a bit meh. The icing on the cake was when I had the audacity to ask for a grilled tomato to go with my steak and they charged me £10 for one miserly little thing. I know it's London but really?

Hi @Icequeen01

If she likes Indian then check out SAGAR. It's South Indian, quite unlike the usual Bengali food you find in uk "Indian" restaurants.

They do amazing dosa and dishes I'd never heard of - it was wonderful. It's veggie/ vegan.
