If you had lost 115lbs, would you...

Choose a breast lift or a tummytuck?

I've saved a third of the cost of ONE procedure and it will take me years to save the rest so both is absolutely not an option.
I feel bad enough spending the money on one procedure, I could never justify 2.

Breasts are extremely tubular and saggy, stomach is extremely saggy and lots of excess skin.

They both upset me equally.

Tummy tuck. I've lost 4 1/2 stone and still have more to lose. Once I've lost more weight I'll be having a tummy tuck to cut away gross excess baggy skin. My boobs sag but I can deal with that with a good bra.

You're going to think I'm daft but I can't fly.
I have an absolutely insane phobia of planes. The surgery abroad doesn't scare me. I've followed the company for years and done a lot of research and would do it tomorrow if I had a teleportation machine, but I just can't get on a plane to go there 🤣

Edited

I know it sounds insane but could you do the Eurotunnel and drive there stopping overnight in places on the way?

I would.... be likely dead, but probably the tummy tuck. I mean, excess skin. Sorry if uninformed.
Losing 115 pounds is (a massive) some achievement.
😳

Well done OP! That's an amazing achievement.

I've lost 12 stone 9lbs (177lbs) and would give anything for a tummy tuck. My boobs can be managed with a good bra but this apron causes a lot of issues with sore skin and infections underneath.

FussyPud · 02/01/2025 15:35

I would go for the tummy tuck, purely because of the threat of infections that can result from having an apron.

Congratulations.

I'm comfortable in my financial situation, my rent is low and I don't have alot of expenses like cars etc as I cannot drive. I don't do holidays etc
I could save for both but I absolutely cannot justify spending that amount of money on myself. I just can't morally.

I'm not struggling, I just live within my means and feel it's almost grotesque to spent nearly 20k on cosmetic surgery (the UK cost)

I did. 20k lighter but so much happier, more confident, it was such a boost to me and my family.

Oh dear.

It's nothing like that for me fortunately. There's not that much of a overhang and it definitely doesn't cause any chaffing or infections etc

It's absolutely fine when clothed. Just unsightly naked

Not had a single medical issue with it. It's not irritating or anything. Just unsightly I guess.

I've lost almost 100lbs (aiming for 110). Yes my tummy isn't firm and I have my multiple c-section apron. Boobs are still a J cup though only a 30J rather than the 38J I started out so down 4 cup sizes down and 8 inches less on the band size. I would save the money and focus on improving self esteem rather than a medical procedure that isn't essential. That's my opinion for myself though. I do understand why other people might feel differently. It sounds like you do already look good though and you're probably being far harsher on yourself than is fair. Well done on the weight loss, you have done an amazing thing Flowers

Honestly look into going abroad even if you have to go by ferry and coach
I paid 6k for tummy tuck and implants / uplift

here that would have been 15k at least
