How many drinks have you had/ will you have today?

I’m two glasses of Prosecco in but making me sleepy rather than perking up’ think will have a wine with dinner then that’s my lot (lightweight these days!)

Cup of tea, 2 glasses of water, 3 cans of beer. Will open the Prosecco shortly!

Had schloer or however you spell it (with dinner as dh doesn’t drink). But now having a Prosecco that the neighbours dropped in ., cheers

None yet, got guests coming in about 5 minutes but think I’ll wait for dinner. We have additional evening guests for buffet etc so it’s a long day, I’d be in bed at 10 if I had started already!
Dh had a fizz when we popped round to see his family this morning but is back on tea for now.

Ditto! I’d have liked a wine with lunch but my mother thinks it makes you a moral degenerate to drink, ever, and my dad has had an alcohol free Guinness in his feeding tube because apparently you then feel as if you’ve had a beer. Bless him.

I’ll probably have 1 or 2 this evening but I can take it or leave it.

None. It adds nothing to me, just makes me feel sleepy and unwell, especially when food is involved. Coffee and tea and water all the way for me.

I'm on my second glass of Chianti. DH declared himself exhausted (to be fair, he was up off and on overnight with our elderly dog) and has gone for a doze. The chicken's in the oven, I'll finish this glass and then start prepping vegetables, nice and slowly. Only the 2 of us here, so no rigid timescale - we'll eat when we're both awake and the food's ready. This bottle of wine is half empty, after it's gone I might have a post-prandial port with a crumb or two of cheese, if I have the capacity :) Also planning to sample the chocolate Baileys before bed. Having a very merry Christmas!

So far, two glasses of prosseco whilst cooking dinner ( first one poured at 10:30 ) then 3 whisky's at the pub, now another glass of prosseco and will be a glass, perhaps two with dinner. Then Baileys this evening with the mince pies

But I do drink so its not affecting me other then being able to smile cos DH hasn't opened the table cloth fully on the table, that the wrong knives and forks are out, that mother wants every thing put back until the ballet finishes....

We do what we need to do to get through a day where traditions and family are full on

Will have a glass of wine or two with Christmas dinner (we eat in the evening)

3 glasses of Bucks Fizz, a coffee with Baileys instead of milk and a few swings while the kettle boiled. 😅

Got a nice French perry to crack open with the starter (scallops in sauce) , and a bottle of red for the main course which is Beef Wellington.

Zero alcoholic drinks and very happy and proud of myself as it's been a real struggle the past year! Have one for me!

Bottle of Prosecco (as Bucks Fizz) so far. Bottle of 2011 Vina Tondonia Rioja Reserva to go with the goose (when it comes out of the AGA in c.3 hours).
Probably a half bottle of dessert wine or some port with pudding (or mince pies if we decide we have no room for pudding).
There may be a bottle of champagne (or English sparkling) to be drunk at some point (if we feel the need for it).

Amazed DW is standing - she seems to have drink most of a bottle of brandy and more than half a bottle of Baileys before she came to bed at 0230 this morning.

Yes, I do know she has a problem - but until she decides she does, I cannot solve it...

Well. I drink on Christmas Day. I started with an espresso martini. I've nearly finished a bottle of bucks fizz. Will open the prosecco later.

I'm by myself and lve always had a fair bit to drink on Christmas. No l don't have a drink problem. I'm making merry by myself 🎄😆

Just one glass of fizz with dinner. Had far too much yesterday catching up with family and was feeling it this morning!

None for me. Normally on Christmas I would have a drink but I've had a sickness bug for 3 months so not touching it.

I think I'm in the minority and already tipsy,
Barraquito, Fanta limon then a couple of champagne sangria's
Will have a siesta soon and then fancy mojitos later!

I've had two glasses of wine but I'm cooking so drinking water too. There will be more later!

Nothing yet. I've got loads of booze here and I always find that the more I have in the house, the less I actually feel like drinking. Will probably open a nice red with dinner later, though.
