Brussel Sprouts - tell me how you’re cooking them!

I’m looking for some inspiration. I recall roasting them with chestnuts many moons ago but otherwise they remain fried in butter or boiled to their eventual death. How are you cooking yours?

I boil them till almost cooked

Fry up some small bacon bits and roast some chestnuts

Then toss it all in a pan with butter and some garlic

Lightly steam then finish off by sauteing in butter with salt and pepper, till they're browned and crispy on the outside. This way, they retain a bit of a fresher flavour as compared to roasting them. Mind you, all the veg on my plate will end up doused with gravy, so I keep them all fairly simple. (Except my parsnips, which are coated with panko breadcrumbs and parmesan and then roasted. So divine!)
