What might I have forgotten on my Christmas food shop list?

Completely drowning in present buying, wrapping, house cleaning and preparing to host family on Christmas Day. Managed to do a good chunk of the big food shop today and am making a list for my early morning dash around the shops on Monday morning to get the remaining stuff. I can't even think straight so I'm sure I'll have forgotten something that is key to the day! What could it be?

But don't worry too much, I have wine, I made sure I stocked up on that today 🤣🤣

I’ve got a horrible bug so have really struggled to buy any food so far. I’m not doing turkey this year thank God but there is a lot on this thread I have forgotten.

Blinis and Bellinis. 😁

For the vegan use vegetable oil for roast potatoes, in a small dish.

Salt
pepper
sugar
gravy/cornflour
stuffing

Stock cubes/pots
Fresh herbs
Pigs in blankets

Use a vegetable oil instead. No point creating more work unnecessarily.

Dill for the salmon and cream cheese on blinis

Lemons
Dog food
cat litter
dog treats
fresh veg
soft drinks
Remind DP about click and collect orders in town.

Sometimes I get so caught up in all the food and drink (booze) that I'm inclined to overlook the normal household stuff.

Things like loo roll, kitchen towel, tin foil, freezer bags, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, Cif, detergent, fabric conditioner etc.

Coffee, tea bags, gravy granules, olive oil.

Cat or dog food, treats etc.

I'm sure there's more.......

Grapes. That's what I forgot, but luckily DH managed to pick some up at the garage shop earlier :)

Bin bags.
Our council allow 2 extra black bags next to our wheelie bin at Christmas, so I bought the largest bin bags I could find 😆

I had to go and get bin liners and loo paper today.

My favourite part of Xmas and always first on my list!!

for me it’s some green or salad to go with stuff on Boxing Day
