Blake Lively suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment

According to TMZ Blake Lively is suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment on the set of ‘It Ends With Us’.

According to the lawsuit, a meeting was held in regards to the hostile work environment. Blake demanded that Baldoni stop showing nude videos or images of women to her, no more mention of Baldoni's alleged previous "pornography addiction," no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew's genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake's weight, and no further mention of Blake's dead father and no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by Blake outside of the script Blake approved when signing onto the project.

Baldoni’s representative have denied the allegations and state this is an effort for Blake to rehabilitate her recent poor image.

He's always been a huge advocate for good and he's not really famous enough to have orchestrated a smear campaign against her, it's all very odd.

Let's not let the other sexual abuser on set off the hook. Jamey Heath was also assaulting female cast members, trying to see Lively naked without her permission and letting non-sanctioned people on set while she was naked.

We only see a clip of the interview too. We don't know if the interviewer said anything to Blake before that .

And Blake wasn't that rude in the interview. She was a bit rude. You could tell she didn't want to be there. I've often seen male celebrities being grumpy and rude to interviewers. They don't get called out on it.

I remember tom cruise was interviewed. And he said to the interviewer "I don't want to answer those questions you are crossing a line"

And he was celebrated for standing up for himself. If Blake lively said that she would be called rude

So she was rude then. There is enough of the interview online, it's more than a 10 second clip. Not sure how other male celebrities act in interviews has got anything to do with how she acted in this one.

It's not just baldoni named in the suit, the media are just choosing to highlight him as, again, it pits a man and a woman in a he said/she said for public consumption. The film company, James heath, the PR company and others are also named and their horrendous actions are listed too. I'm skeptical that a man who sends texts showing stories of Hailey Bieber being a 'bully' and saying 'we need to do this to BL' is an ally to women behind closed doors though 🤔

My point is that male and female celebrities are treated differently. Because women are never supposed to get angry or rude.

If men do it , it's fine.

If a woman does it in one single interview, her reputation gets cancelled.

I've seen tom cruise shout at an interviewee. It didn't fo any damage to tom cruises reputation

Jesus some people are really immune to facts: you can ready the text messages between associates of the PR company that he hired discussing how to orchestrate a campaign against lively and discussing how well they are doing on social media. The messages were obtained by BL team via subpoena, they are legit.

He was backed by a billionaire studio co-owner, who definitely was willing to spend money on this.

And she's human.

She didn't tell the interviewer to fuck off. She just said she didn't want to talk about the clothes.

It's irrelevant if she was the most vile, twatty bitch ever! Unless you think she deserves whatever she got for being so. Or that only nice, kind women deserve to be believed/supported.

@AccidentallyWesAnderson how was BL tone deaf in the promotion of the film? She and the cast except for JB were following the studio’s direction on promotion.

And I think that interview was definitely found and put out there as part of a smear campaign against Blake.

I remember last year. There was so much negative publicity coming out about Blake lively, my friend said to me "something must have happened. BL must have done something to piss someone off, as someone is out to get her" .

There was a huge amount of negative stories coming out about Blake lively at the same time.

It seems a bit pointless Blake lively doing this now though. What will she gain from it? Her reputation wasn't that ruined last year. She just got a reputation for being difficult

It would be somewhat hypocritical of heard to sue anyone for character assassination as her PR company was doing the same thing just in the MSM.

Didn't Ashley Judd say the same thing happened to her when she stood up to Harvey Weinstein? Seems like it is an established pattern.

I think that she is thinking of herself. She is doing damage control to make her reputation look better.

After reading that article, I believe BL. However, I think the only reason the smear campaign was so effective was because the trivialising of DV in the films promo (they were told to do this though) was so tone deaf, as was her opportunistic shoehorning in of her hair care line.

This pales in significance compared to the alleged toxic behaviour from JB and Jamey on set. No one deserves to go to work and be harassed.

I agree. Both can be wrong BL and JB.

Interesting response from Brandon Sklenar too when asked about BL. She pushes him to say positive things about her but he was very neutral.

I still hope JB gets his comeuppance if he has acted inappropriately.
