According to TMZ Blake Lively is suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment on the set of ‘It Ends With Us’.

According to the lawsuit, a meeting was held in regards to the hostile work environment. Blake demanded that Baldoni stop showing nude videos or images of women to her, no more mention of Baldoni's alleged previous "pornography addiction," no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Blake and others, no further mentions of cast and crew's genitalia, no more inquiries about Blake's weight, and no further mention of Blake's dead father and no more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by Blake outside of the script Blake approved when signing onto the project.

Baldoni’s representative have denied the allegations and state this is an effort for Blake to rehabilitate her recent poor image.

I find it interesting that you say you’re a rape crisis volunteer whilst at the same time insisting that we have to see ALL THE EVIDENCE and that JB is innocent until or unless a court declares otherwise, and until that point you don’t feel that BL is to be believed.

After all- sometimes woman do lie, and fabricate evidence to support their claims (couldn’t she have falsified the text messages? Look at Jim Carrey!) and sometimes men do get proven guilty (what about Conor McGregor! He was proven guilty!).

So going by your own logic, if a woman accesses your services then you start from a point of not believing her, and if she doesn’t manage to get her case to court (which the vast majority don’t) and her attacker/abuser is therefore never declared guilty (which the vast majority aren’t) then you, again by your own logic, must assume that woman was lying?

Rape crisis centres are open to anyone who feel that they need support, as you well know.

We never ask anyone to provide evidence -to get support. The support service is available to anyone

Everyone is entitled to ring in and get support; and to access services.

Rape crisis centres have completely different roles to criminal courts or civil courts.

Rape crisis centres don't decide if the alleged perpetrator is guilty or not.

The courts do that.

I provided a lot of help and support at the rape crisis centre.

I still think that everyone is entitled to a fair trial.

In fact that was something that was said to us during volunteer training - it was said to us during training - that everyone is entitled to a fair trial. The justice system is very important.

You didn’t answer my question.

Your default standpoint- to all these women that you claim to have been helpful to- was that you didn’t believe them- right? Until a court declared they were telling the truth?

Must have been weird, providing all that support to all those women whilst also presuming them to be lying.

It wasn't up to me to believe them or not. I never thought about it. That wasn't my role
. It's a courts role to decide that. My role was to provide information and support to anyone that waned it. Which I did. If anyone was distressed and waned information , I gave it to them

First of all, you said women. Rape crisis centres provide services to both genders. So it wasn't just women calling in.

Men and women called in to the service every week. And I gave them all the information and help that they needed.

noblegiraffe · 23/12/2024 19:05

I'm surprised to hear anyone working with rape victims think that the justice system is anything like fair to them.

Have you volunteered with rape victims yourself?

Have you done anything to help in that area?

Still didn’t answer the question.

noblegiraffe · 23/12/2024 19:09

With the rape conviction rate as it is, you think the system is fair?

Still didn’t answer the question.

Yes I did.

Twice now.

I don't exist just to answer your questions over and over and over. I'm not answering it for a third time.

MrsTerryPratchett · 23/12/2024 19:11

I've worked with rapists. And the victims are almost never lying. It's very rare. The perpetrators, you can tell when they're lying because their lips are moving.

noblegiraffe · 23/12/2024 19:09

And I said to you, what are you doing to make the system fairer.

Are you helping ?

Are you volunteering anywhere?

Moonfasa100 · 23/12/2024 19:12

I wonder when Blake and Justin will go to court. It'll probably be early next year some time.

It would’ve been like:

”Why did you wait so long to report this rape?”

“We’ll have to wait for a court of law to decide if that’s what really happened because women do lie, you know.”

”Could it be possible your evidence might be faked?”

AngeloMysterioso · 23/12/2024 19:23

No, you didn’t. You just waffled about how it didn’t matter what you thought because that wasn’t your role, and you just helped people regardless.

So now I’ll just re-ask, very directly, so you don’t have to dance around it-

Did you assume all the women who accessed your services were lying, until or unless a court said they were telling the truth?

Enough4me · 23/12/2024 20:18

When people post to manipulate others they generally repeat the same points and don't answer questions. It's so obvious they have a mission 🙄

myrtleWilson · 23/12/2024 20:21

I asked that question yesterday @AngeloMysterioso and got a similar “nothing to do with me guv response” about it not being their role. I had in fact asked if they “mused about the veracity of the claims of people accessing the rape crisis centre’ meaning pondered, reflected, thought… I didn’t ask them if it was their role to test their evidence. The response I got was quite revealing imo.

And as I already said, I already answered it

Try to learn to read pet. It will help you in the future.

You asked "did I assume all the women were lying.

I answered clearly before, I will write the same answer again.

I wrote "I never thought about if anyone was guilty or innocent as that wasn't the point of my role. My role was to give advice and information to everyone that called in"

TooBigForMyBoots · 23/12/2024 21:04

If thon's worked with victims of rape and sex abuse I'll eat my hat.🙄

Moonfasa100 · 23/12/2024 21:05

I bwt the posters who are picking at me, have never gotten off their arsed and volunteered for a rape crisis centre. Or volunteered for anyhring similar.

Have you? Why don't you.

If you want to help people. Do it.

You've also avoided my question

I'll ask you again.

Are you volunteering with any charity that helps sexual abuse victims.

If you want to help sex abuse victims, what are you doing to help?

That is often the point. Exhaust feminists with whataboutery and side quests so they don't do the other work.

Failing to understand that women are used to doing all the work and will continue to both play whack-a-mole with people on here, and do the work IRL.
