Good Morning All! What are you all up to today?

I'm just drinking my first brew of the day, in my kitchen spot. The kittens have been fed, & have gone back to bed upstairs I think. No-one else is up just yet, so it's lovely and quiet, although dd2 did want to get up fairly early I think.

I haven't got much planned for today - wash & dry the towels, and possibly my bedding is top of the list! And I want to ice my friend's dad's Christmas cake so I can drop it in one day this coming week. Other than that, I might fix the Christmas tree that the kittens went climbing in yesterday 🙄

Dd1 will have college work to do, so will be doing that when she surfaces! And dd2 is off out with a friend for a walk & then home to wrap a couple of gifts for her friends. They'll probably stop off at Tesco for a meal deal to eat as they walk, as usual!

We're having roast pork and stuffing sandwiches for tea, with roast spuds and gravy on the side 😋

This evening it'll be early showers all round & then probably more crochet for me, followed by a very early night ready for work in the morning after I took last week off ill.

@DeNiroDeFaro When she was younger she did belt it out - from the audience. We used to go to the carol singing concerts at the Royal Albert Hall and she’d do the Hark the Herald descant! Now she’s been tamed and does it in a choir!

Had a lovely day visiting some family, really aiming to put emphasis on family and friends going forward after a shit year.
My little girl is in bed now and we're watching some TV and eating some snacks.

Morning - cafe for breakfast. Tomatoes on toast, then a coffee shop, then walked 3 times around a small Tesco looking for pickle. Nearly gave up but stopped a staff member and of course I was standing right by it!!

Afternoon - at work until 8pm.
