Hairdressers! Should I wash my hair pre-appt?

I have an appt tomorrow. Mid-length hair was washed Tues, scraped back in a pony Weds, and then styled and hairsprayed heavily today - looked ok, I hope!

Due at hairdressers tomorrow for a half head of foils - both dark and bleach. Should I wash it prior to appt or just leave it?

I wash mine if I'm going outside the garden boundary during daylight hours and even if a neighbour stops for a chat whilst I'm in my garden I'd feel uncomfortable. If I think my hair looked ok (when wearing glasses) I'd feel skanky and I'd guarantee I'd see someone I knew if I took a chance and went shopping.

If you are happy for your hairdresser to rub their fingers in your unclean hair that's fine but would you be happy if the roles were reversed?

The reason I said wash it was because of the hairspray, ‘hair sprayed heavily’ leads me to believe you have a lot of product on your hair and that will act like a barrier to your colour.

I have fairly fine hair so needs washed every other day. When I'm getting colour done I would wash the day before and then put minimal product in it on the day. My hairdresser says that's fine.

How have you got to adulthood without realising not everyone washes their hair every day?

I have curly hair that only gets washed every 5-6 days. If I washed it every day I'd look like I had been electrocuted.

What a very limited life you must have led to not understand that different people have different hair types and therefore different needs, not to mention different morning schedules. Would you sinmply "not understand" if some people, say, didn't have time in the morning to wash, dry and straighten a thick head of hair before going to work?

Never wash your hair before bleaching! Ever! Xx

I wash mine the day before I go.
I have a full colour
I would give yours a really good brush to get rid of the hairspray at least

My hairdresser asks for it to be free if products, but not washed for a colour. So I would wash the night before.

Same my hairdresser says the dirtier the better.

I apologised the last time I went because I'd clean hair

Not if their hair is the type of hair which doesn't get washed daily (I'm thinking of curly hair)

I thought the whole pleasure in going to the heairdressers is that you go with nice dirty hair and don’t have to do it yourself for a few days before. Just me then?

Personally once a week suits me, if needed more often
