Asking for a friend...

You and husband have brilliant relationship. You have two kids from previous relationship, he has 3. They're here 50/50; he's a wonderful father and husband. All kids are happy.

Would you have one together?

Absolutely not.

Wistfuller · 06/12/2024 14:17

I wouldn't even consider it.

Comedycook · 06/12/2024 14:19

No.

I know a couple in a similar situation and they did have a baby....some of their older kids have not taken it well to say the least.

The situation is already complicated enough...if everyone is currently happy then I wouldn't rock the boat

What I certainly would not do is ask a bunch of randoms on the internet for their opinions. She should go within for the correct answer.

No. Sounds messy already.

Tess150 · 06/12/2024 14:28

No. She they should concentrate on the 5 kids they already have.

Catlord · 06/12/2024 14:38

No tbh. 5 is plenty. I'd say put their efforts and resources into their existing kids. Having another would be about them not what's best for the kids who must be a range of ages needing different things.

It wouldn't make a good single reason but if they still wanted to experience parenting together when the kids are older perhaps consider fostering?
