They don’t take the last of the milk and save it for mum’s morning cup of tea because they know you love the first cup of tea of the day .

I was touched by my kind boys this morning aged 13 and 9. Any more to share today?

I have so enjoyed reading the thread and felt really guilty I could not remember a single one of the many, surprising and little lovely things my DS does.

But then today after school he came out with his classmates, everyone munching away at some sweets a teacher had given out as a reward. I teasingly asked if he'd quickly eaten his before I I had a chance to take them off him 'for only after your dinner'. He laughed... but when we got to our street he pulled a small roll of parmaviolets out of his pocket and said 'I saved them for you!' I love parmaviolets 🥹 and so does he! He won't even take half of them, but I'll sneak some into his lunchbox.

My kids are 8 and 6. They are pretty close, DD is super supportive of her brother who’s autistic. Anyway, my DD went away on a Brownies camp. DS missed her, so he saved her half a cake ready for when she came back. It turned out that at the Brownies camp they had a little shop and DD had spent some of her spending money on a bag of sweets as a present for DS.

I cried whilst they ate their treats from each other 😭

...they know you're not eating so send you a lovely cream tea to remind you that eating can be enjoyable.

...they send you flowers on chocolates on your divorce and say what a brilliant mum you are.

...when they travel hours just to be there for your birthday as they've never ever missed one.

so so many.

Oh wow that's so nice!

My friends 3 year old was taken to a corner shop with his money and told he could choose whatever he wanted - toy, comic etc. Without any prompting he said he wanted to buy 'flowers for mummy!'

My kids tell me I'm beautiful. They're only 6 and 2.

I've been really poorly recently, the other morning I woke up and realised we were late up for school. I rushed downstairs to find my 7 year old already down there but she had deliberately not woken me as she knew I needed rest. She had got herself dressed, brushed her hair, made and eaten her breakfast, done her homework, packed her school bag, and then "I saw it was waiting so I folded the 2 bags of clean washing to go away too". Honestly I could have cried at the relief of not being late, and just the sheer kindness, I am so proud of her.

Wow that is one pretty incredible child!
