Do you get paid early at Xmas?

I'm 6 months into a new job so wasn't at this employer last year. In most of my previous jobs I've been paid early for Xmas. I get paid at the end of the month. I'm in 2 minds it would be useful to get more Xmas things but will make January very long. Or if we don't it'll make January a normal month money wise.
We manage on my salary just but can't save and it's tight.
Hopefully as I'm owed about £500 in expenses I'll get them before Xmas and that can pay for presents.
When do you get paid?

No we are always paid mid month. I actually prefer it. When I was in a role that was end of the month and we got paid early on the 23rd it made it a really long January. Mid month makes it much easier.

I always get paid on the 15th but DH gets paid the last Thursday of the month. So I assume this year he will get paid either ridiculously early or on the 27th, moving the paydate by one day.

It depends if their admin staff is away between Christmas and New Year.

Get paid on the last day of the month every month.

Yes NHS and tend to get paid a week or so early. I hate it! All my Christmas spending is long done by the 20 something of December and it makes January even more awful feeling financially.

I don't really understand the complaints about jab being long or it being bad to get paid early. Just don't spend it until your normal payday, job done.

Yes, 6 days early, normally on the 28th but now the 22nd. I mentally pretend it's not there or transfer into a different account. It's not I have no self control, it's just we are always at Xmas until after New year and Jan can become very expensive x
