Emma Thompson

Demi Moore is apparently almost exactly my age so she would be nice.

Starseeking · 20/11/2024 07:36

Viola Davis or Angela Bassett

HumanBurrito · 20/11/2024 07:50

Nicola Walker. She is the absolute spit of me, or me of her.

TheMauveTiger · 20/11/2024 08:01

Maureen Lipman as Jane Lucas in 'Agony'.

I was once compared to Gillian Anderson (admittedly by my friend's three year old twins looking at a picture of her and saying it was me), so Ms Anderson please.

(Thirty years on, a little more reastically, Patricia Arquette.)

This reminds me of when my toddler niece pointed at a photo of Aidan Turner and said it was her uncle (my DH).

I wish 😂

Anna Maxwell Martin please

I would kill to look remotely like Anna Maxwell Martin!

I would be played by Mrs Potato Head.

Beebumble2 · 20/11/2024 10:24

Diane Keaton

Justleaveitblankthen · 20/11/2024 10:27

Everyone tells me I'm the double of Caroline Aherne, so very sadly that wouldn't be possible 😔

I always mix up Nicola Walker and Anna Maxwell Martin.
Love them both 😍

LadyMacbethssweetArabianhand · 20/11/2024 10:31

Thora Hird

Jasmin71 · 20/11/2024 11:05

In my 20s and 30s definitely Gillian Anderson.

Now Sarah Lancashire.

YesPleaseMary · 20/11/2024 12:12

Miranda Hart

1questionfromme · 20/11/2024 12:22

Sandra Bullock.

Not because she's physically anything like me (that would be more like Dawn French who I find really annoying) but just because I love SB in Miss Congeniality and I'd like to be her.

Saltedcarameltiramisucheesecake · 20/11/2024 12:38

Juliette Lewis. We are twins. 👭

ginasevern · 20/11/2024 14:06

Brigitte Bardot when she was young. Although I probably look more like her now she's old.

LizTruss · 20/11/2024 14:42

Whilst I am a bit puzzled myself by this suggested casting, a number of associates have said it is 'bang on', and so maybe they are right.

Anyway, apparently I would be best played by an amalgamation of Laurel and Hardy.

GrossEncountersoftheTurdKind · 20/11/2024 14:52

Fanny Ardent, although she is 20 years older than me, when we are/were? the same age we look very alike.

BlessicaBlimpson · 20/11/2024 14:58

Kate Winslet

BeyondMyWits · 20/11/2024 15:04

Miriam Margolyes... (as playing professor sprout). But, aside from the uncanny resemblance, I think she is such a lovely fun filled lady that she'd make a damned good go of my life so far!

UnaLength · 20/11/2024 15:04

DS once told me I looked like Louisa Durrell when we were watching the tv so Keeley Hawes but that was when he was 7 and he's 16 now so probably not valid anymore.

LoveSandbanks · 20/11/2024 15:14

Well, obviously I’d expect Helen Mirren but much more likely to be Kathy Burke.

Dontlletmedownbruce · 20/11/2024 15:27

Kate Winslet, definitely the closest in terms of looks colouring, body shape etc.

It would be the most boring movie ever...

NotMeNoNo · 20/11/2024 15:41

according to an app, Selma Blair, I think she's my lost beautiful twin.

Usnone · 20/11/2024 15:48

Sarah Millican
