Celebrity wise - Or it won't be much fun

Not my usual type , but I really like the nature cameraman / Countryfile Celebrity Hamza Yassin . When he's on tv he comes across like a lovely gentle soul , and strangely his hair does something to me .
Totally different to my dh which I guess is the allure.
Who's yours ?

A painter for you, ( he’s also a poet, writer and musician )
Billy Childish……..when interviewed he stated all you need in life is
good food
good wine and lots of sex

Childishs name was all over Tracy Emins exhibit ‘Everyone I’ve ever slept with’ he was her ex.

Edited

With all due respect, StandingSideBySide Billy Childish has, to quote Ernest Hemingway on Ford Madox Ford, "The face of an unsuccessful rapist."

Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres wasn't bad at 24 and Dante Gabriel Rossetti was quite nice at 19 if the self portraits are anything go by, which is questionable in itself, but they went downhill fast.

If only I had been running in a tavern in Arles when Vincent Van Gogh was about. I'd have taken him in hand. "Now listen Vincent. You are perfectly presentable young man. You just look Dutch. You are Dutch. Now stop throwing yourself at Mimi la Banquette or ChaCha la Fruité. That Gauguin is just some kind of passport bro. Those Tahitian women. It's not all flowers in the hair, y'know.

Those paintings. May I make a suggestion? A finer brush. All that big swirly business just makes you look dafter than you already are.

You've had a letter from who? Some Norweigian exchange student? Edvard? Munch? Moonk? He seems depressed? Friend of creep Gauguin? Oh, mon Dieu. Block him.

Lift your elbows. Let me wipe down this bar."

🤣🤣🤣🤣
As he’s a friend I’ll show him your thoughts and over a few drinks he’ll be having a laugh at that ….tbh he won’t even need the drinks.

He may look better in the flesh. I'm still in character as a tavern keeper in Arles circa 1889 and these daguerréotypes can be very misleading.

ChaCha La Fruité swiped right on Toulouse Lautrec last week. He said he was six pieds on his profile. On the other hand Monsieur Cezanne is a very distiguished looking gentilhomme with a lovely bushy barbe and the camera does him no justice. Even if he does keep rearranging the pots and cloths in the scullery for his natures morts.

The less said about the Georges Sand confusion the better.

Jonathan Pryce. My crush on him lasted years. Don't fancy him now he's Cardinal Wolsey though.

Hugh Laurie.

Heck yes. I know its a zombie thread but its an interesting one

Crikeyalmighty · 13/09/2025 10:46

Louis Theroux and Hugh Laurie for me too - Dominic West and Hugh Grant - but they are not exactly suprising .

Rallentanda · 13/09/2025 11:13

Charlie Brooker.

I used to fancy Moreen Market as a teenager and DH does not look like him. But he has a bit of the Charlie Brooker about him so I'll take that 😂

ETA autocorrect did me well dirty there but I'm leaving it 😂😂😂

EveryOtherNameTaken · 13/09/2025 14:49

Marcus Wareing.

MiniJellyBeans · 13/09/2025 15:01

The actor Sean Dooley. He’s not generally considered a heartthrob but there’s just something about his looks that I find very fanciable!
Edit to add: sorry just noticed Zombie thread but still interesting

ErinAoife · 21/09/2025 10:37

James Blunt and Lee Minho for their humour
Henry Calvill and Kim Seugmin for their beautiful smile.
The late Rovert Redford was my ultimate crush when I was young
