Celebrity wise - Or it won't be much fun

Not my usual type , but I really like the nature cameraman / Countryfile Celebrity Hamza Yassin . When he's on tv he comes across like a lovely gentle soul , and strangely his hair does something to me .
Totally different to my dh which I guess is the allure.
Who's yours ?

Larry Lamb!

Nice Larry Lamb from Gavin and Stacey, or evil Larry Lamb from Eastenders?!

Haveadayofflove · 17/11/2024 02:46

Peter Gabriel
Then and now

I think Jamie Dornan is possibly the least surprising crush anyone has ever had!

Well done on finding a husband who looks like him though 😄

Ha ha so true. Only I think he looks a bit like him- others would probably laugh and disagree. OK, I missed the point of the thread a little, so I need to add a more surprising one. When I was younger I think I had a thing for Ken Barlow (until he started playing around!)

KnopkaPixie · 17/11/2024 09:16

Oh here's a new one: Charles Dance. But only in White Mischief. What a strange film that was. Greta Scacchi was rather beautiful in that one as well.

Hot ginger on ginger action. Gave me hope as a fellow ginge. There's a very young Hugh Grant in the opening scenes as well.

Rick Stein I fell in love with his voice and gentle manner a long time ago.Think he would make a lovely DP . Also love Simon Reeves and Ben Fogle

Surely many of these are unsurprising?? I mean none are my type but just standard leading man/singers etc.

So I shall up the game (or possibly lower the tone). My first crush was Shane McGowan. I also had a thing for Spud from Trainspotting for quite some time while everyone else was all about Sick Boy and Renton.

Also Jamie Dornan's cousin is WAY fitter IMO 😅

I fell in love with Spud in the book Trainspotting but the actor in the film just didn't seem to be the same character or look like the Spud in my imagination 😁

Someone upthread said Bungle. That’s pretty weird.

Bungle, there's just something about his voice that gets me going.

Actually, I’m interested to know which Bungle, for there were many:

Rainbow: ranking the Bungles

It's time to answer the question that's tearing the nation apart: who was the best Bungle in Rainbow?

Bob Mortimer! So funny and genuine.

YourFluentCrab · 17/11/2024 11:35

Hugh laurie when he was playing House.

Isometimeswonder · 17/11/2024 11:38

I quite like Si King from the hairy bikers.
I've never actually told anyone that.

He’s the best isn’t he ❤️

CaninesC · 16/11/2024 17:37

Sam Heughan currently but in a definitely unobtainable kind of way.

I've felt a greater attraction to the odd actor in the past, but I think then (if they were not a famous actor) they were more in my league somehow...and whilst a fantasy it was almost possible!

Sam Heughan is physical perfection - he seems like a great guy too!

How is that surprising?

herecomesautumn · 17/11/2024 12:37

Larry rickard for me. Always making silly faces. Not standard good looking. But I would

GiddyRobin · 17/11/2024 12:38

Oh! Keith Floyd. So funny and flamboyant, witty and clever. But riddled with sadness and totally haunted by himself and his demons.

DecayingRelic · 17/11/2024 12:42

Eddie Redmayne in that Jackal advert😬

TimothyIsNotAnArmardillo · 17/11/2024 12:45

Dougray Scott - always looks like a man in torment
Morrissey
Robert Smith
Inspector Morse - as portrayed by both Shaun Evans and John Thaw
Gene Hunt character - although if I ever encountered anyone like that in real life I would detest them
F Scott Fitzgerald

ToBeOrNotToBee · 17/11/2024 12:48

Ralph Fiennes. Even in his 60s he does it for me.
I rewatched The English Patient recently and my god, I was practically salivating.

myonlinelife86 · 16/11/2024 17:00

Bill Skarsgard - no friends or family members find him attractive! I think they are nuts

I dated a Swedish man who was a blonder and slightly older version of him.
I have many happy memories.
I still get a flutter if I see Bill on the TV.
I didn't even think that was my type until I ended up in bed with it.

Mine fits the gay/dead catergory too .

I think he was bi, but sadly still dead.
