Neighbour issues, what would you do?

Hi, my neighbour keeps putting her bins in my driveway. She has a large driveway of her own. I've asked her very politely three times not to. Last time, she told me to f* off to my face. I backed off. What should I do?

What's the damage it is doing, can you not park or walk past them? Not sure I understand the issue.

It's ops property why should she have bins dumped on them?

Put up a boundary between the front gardens? Eg a fence

⬆️⬆️ That’s the easiest and least confrontational way of dealing with it.
It doesn’t have to be something big. Just enough to make it hard work for her to not over the separation between her and your drive.

As attractive as some of the other ideas are, they’ll just make things more and more confrontational and you’ll end up in a war. Not where you want to go.

3am I would wheel them off down the road and take them several streets away and let her go find them. Although actually, if it was fresh after bin day and they were empty, I might be tempted to throw them in the boot of my van and drive them into the next town. No bins, no problem.

Superglue them shut

Definitely in agreement with the fence idea. It would be worth it if it's at all feasible, OP, because as others have said, neighbour disputes can quickly turn into a living hell.

bin fires

I would make sure your bins have your house number of them to show that these rogue bins belong to your neighbour. If you have a very daring friend they can be the one to remove her bins after bin collection and wheel them right down the street. That way you can claim you had nothing to do with it.

Personally I would glove up and put them back on her drive right near to her house. Oh and install a video doorbell or the likes to record her in case she kicks off and then you can report her to the police.
