Whats the oddest thing someone has stolen from you?

Reading this story about a door handle stolen from a cafe made me wonder what the oddest thing someone has stolen from you? I once had some of my homemade CDs stolen from me on a train. Why would you steal someone’s really obvious crappy homemade megamix with their felt-tip handwriting scrawl all over it? I hope it skipped for them on the good songs!

Nothing is cheap to replace anymore. Most of the time you can't even consider claiming on the contents insurance because of the excess charges they have on many polices ( even if you have never claimed before ) and it's just a win win for the burglars who sell it on or have it in their house / car or whatever for free.
They say crime doesn't pay , but sometimes I think it must do

Had my handbag nicked on holiday years ago.

Someone found it and returned it back to the hotel.

The dirty little thief stole my little tub of Vaseline (ew!), my black sparkly shrug and my glasses case - but left the glasses thankfully.

We had a break in and the only thing taken was my son’s super chunky bike lock, which was locked closed and he had the key with him on his keyring.

I agree, it's sad really. I know so many people who have had their bikes stolen in seconds whilst distracted with the kids or putting shopping away, locking the door, that kind of thing.

It was actually stolen in the middle of the night by a family member which is even funnier 😂

And apparently, baiting for dogs when training for coarsing or poaching. I had more than one set of guinea pigs stolen during the 90s, most likely for this purpose unfortunately.

Actually, someone smashed the quarter light of my old fiesta, and stole 2 homemade mixtapes.

On holidays one year a young lad ran past us on the beach and grabbed a bag from beside my sunbed ….. it had 2 dirty nappies from my child in it … 😂

Years ago her car was stolen. It was recovered a few days later and although it was written off, anything she’d left in the car was still there. Apart from a cassette (I did say it was years ago) recording of Yo Yo Ma playing the Bach Cello Suites.

I remember my parents had their trailer stolen it was full of rubbish and dog poo they took the lot

Had the soft top.of my MG slashed and a bottle if Fanta stolen. Interesting insurance claim.

When I lived in the student nurses home, someone stole our entire roast chicken dinner from the oven. Ended up with KFC that night, and never got the bloody baking trays back.

Dd had been playing outside with her dolls pushchair she came up stairs to get a drink when she went back down someone had taken the dolls pushchair but left the doll on the floor

Prescription spectacles on a BA flight. The second cheapest pair from Specsavers so not a designer brand. Pissed me off because it meant I had to sleep in my contact lenses on a night flight.

We had been on holiday. Came back and someone had unscrewed it from the other side of the fence. We backed into a small field. They can’t have been in the garden as we had two padlocked gates.

Someone has taken the little wifi password thing out of the back of the router recently. I pulled the living room apart looking for it after some people stayed. Guess they were very careless when helping themselves to it.
