Hope you are feeling better about yourself tonight. Xxx

To be harsh, do you need that person (who is making you feel bad) in your life? Are they the type of person you want in your life (complete honesty - this is something only you know deep in your heart) if they make you feel like that?

That's not good. Not a healthy relationship for you to have, whether it be friendship, marriage or family. Ypu deserve better.
Big hugs xxxx

Oops typo - You deserve better!

Sounds like you've crossed the boundaries of someone who trusted you. You have badly hurt them and broken your trust. You say you're being held to ransom but in reality you are free to leave any relationship at any time. You caused the broken trust, you caused the pain, you caused the situation and you are currenly accountable for that. If you have broken it too badly and can't handle the discomfort of seeing the pain you have caused by your own actions then you are free to leave. It sounds like this person has given you a second chance but that doesnt mean they instantly forget what you have done to them. Their pain is your doing and yet they are sticking around bearing that pain themself. Perhaps seek counselling both as individuals and as a pair, and if that doesnt help then consider leaving and having a fresh start. Don't make the mistake of letting anonymous strangers tell you anything you have done to hurt someone who trusted you should just automatically be okay. The person you hurt still bears that pain, why shouldn't you also feel something. You would be a horrible person if you only felt distress at it while it is inconveniencing you, and the fact you feel guilt is completely understandable.

How do you mean?

I think you probably haven't hurt anyone as much as you think you have. And people sometimes lie about this because they sense a vulnerability and it suits them to make you feel bad.

I'm a great lover of people, and in life people often seize on a weakness in others to make themselves feel better. I wish they wouldn't, but they do. I can't help them, they're not here, I can help you though, because you are.

I guarantee you haven't done anything as bad as you think you have.

I guarantee someone just wants you feel that.
