Barber Kissed My Toddler On Cheek.

Just taken my son ( 7 ) to get his hair cut. Also had my toddler with me (2.5)

Barber finished the cut and I was paying and he picked my toddler up and made a fuss of him and kissed him on the cheek.

I thought it was a bit odd and it's been on my mind since we got home.

What does anyone else think?

I have a friend from a Middle Eastern country and the dads and uncles just fawned over my toddler DS! I was very surprised at first (it wasn't the women) but it 's really lovely to see, they absolutely adore kids!

They do that in our Turkish barbers. My kid loves it :)

I wonder if tapping into men's nurturing instincts will help with turning off their violent/abusive instincts
