Full of cold/covid and need a movie to watch ideally with a good twist. Nothing sad though please!

The Crowded Room - series rather than film but well worth it.

Lots of twists in the mini series “Ripley” based on The Talented…
Personally I’d watch anything with Andrew Scott in it.

Still Life - Eddie Marsan sad movie though sorry

Can't wait for the film version of Wicked to come out next month. Now that's a twist!!

Tezza1 · 01/10/2024 04:20

@Loub55 The Mist - the twist is like a punch in the gut.

Another oldie but goodie suspense film with a twist, but but a real touch of humour is and good fun is Deathtrap(1982 or thereabouts) with Michael Caine and Christopher Reeve. I saw it as a stage play a couple of times and the movie actually stands up quite well.

Watched it many years ago, but ' lock stock and two smoking barrels ' has a twisty ending
Same as the original' the Italian job '

Lucky Number Slevin.
Twister than a twisty thing 😁.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 01/10/2024 07:21

Sorry - should have read
Twistier than a twisty thing. Bloody autocorrect.

Whaleandsnail6 · 01/10/2024 07:25

From Dusk Till Dawn. If you've seen it you know the twist. If you haven't and no horrible person has told you what it is you'll never guess and it's bloody brilliant. Much blood and violence. Ridiculous film. Love it.

Well that was a twist and a half!!!! Definitely didn't see that coming. Thank you!

Thank you for all the recommendations, lots I've not heard of before.
