Can see several others have already suggested it ...Fracture .... I always watch this when it's on as a Hopkins and Gosling are superb and it's a great twist

Love Fracture but never heard of Sleuth

As a couple of PP's have said, The Others. It is very under-your-skin eerie!

Predestination starring Ethan Hawke. I don't think it's massively well known but it's absolutely brilliant.

Parasite

An old one from 1980 but "Dressed to kill," has a great twist.

I read the book almost as soon as it came out and was sat up in bed reading it thinking "Just another chapter and then I'll sleep." It was about 1am and I got to the twist. Like yu I gasped out loud. I didn't get much sleep that night.
