Good Morning from the train to Newcastle this morning 🚄. It's looking like a beautiful day out there 🌞

I've hung some washing, fed and played with the kittens, put a load on a timer, and had a quick tidy round this morning.

I'm off with dd1 to the uni open day today, with a late ish train booked home so we have some time in the city too. I'm hoping to find a market

Dd2's still asleep atm but her dad's taking her for dinner at a local pizza and burger restaurant later on, and she has plans to do some of her homework.

When we get in, it'll be a cuppa & bed for me 💤

Welcome to Newcastle @lucysmam and DD. Sunday is market day on the quayside if you plan to revisit.

It will be busy in Newcastle today as the match is / has been on. And I think there is a boat race on today.

Hospital pharmacist
will start work at 9am tomorrow until 5pm
then from 5pm until 9am Monday I will be on call - bleep goes off on average 3-4 times an hour so next to nothing sleep then another shift 9am-5pm Monday. It’s brutal. Oh and I get approx £25 for the entire on call shift. Total exploitation.

Ouch @JMAngel1 - rather you than me - I do overnights with my job occasionally but at least I can sleep!

Late to the thread again. No idea why as we've done very little today.

Took the youngest DC swimming today but the older two are tired so I let them miss their lesson. I've been to the shops, posted a few packages and have dinner prepped for cooking in a bit (doing a roast chicken, mash potato and green veg)

I'm trying to chivvy the kids to get their homework done as they are off to Chessington tomorrow, but it's a surprise.
DP and his brothers are taking the kids (8 in total) but we've not told them yet! I'm going to prep pack ups later.

Will be an early start as its a tube / train job.

So early night all round. Except they won't know why the need an early night 😂

Did nothing but faff about on the computer today!
Waiting in for Amazon deliveries as its my monthly shop from there.
