What's your weirdest habit?

Just starting this thread for a bit of fun—I’ve got this weird habit of chatting to my plants as if they’re listening. Anyone else got any quirky habits?

Less depressing weird habit, I always leave about three bites of food on my plate. My husband reckons the dogs have conditioned me to leave them scraps. The thing is I do it even when they're not around.

I'm on medication and every time I take a pill I have to have five gulps of water. Other numbers are necessary for other actions. Four and seven but not sure I can admit to when they are vital. 😏

I also have to do a funny walk when about to feed my pets. Oh the shame. 😏

Omg the horror. It has to be even!!

I don't like people touching or breathing over my food. If eating out I will try to create a mini fort using the menu or salt and pepper shakers to avoid any 'spray' from people talking while still chewing.

It's even numbers or prime numbers for me. I prefer the primes to even ones but some things we watch need the volume so high that it would be too low or too high if we had primes only.

DH has since learned a lot of prime numbers.

Boiling the kettle twice even when the water is boiling. If I don't catch it just as it switches off I have to redo it!

What a waste of money and energy

I can't eat off blue plates any food on blue plates puts me right off

My ex always left a mouthful of food on his plate- when asked why he said he was leaving it for god?!

I pull the covers back completely before getting into bed to check for spiders. We have a new home with an internal air conditioning system, so windows aren't open and basically spiders cannot get in. Zero live in my house. Yet I constantly live in fear of them somehow getting in and crawling on me as I sleep.

At home, I have to be covered with a blanket at all times (except in the bathroom). I can’t just sit on my sofa like a normal human being, I have to have a blanket around me, even during the Summer months I won’t wear a dressing gown as a substitute either, which drove my DM crazy when I lived at home.

I’ve been like this since I was a child. Everyone makes comments about it...

It's quite interesting to see people's weird habits, isn't it? I've got another one: I always smell my hand after rubbing in alcohol gel. Whenever I see a hand gel bottle, I just have to rub some into my hands and take a sniff. I think I might actually like the smell!

When I'm pouring drinks, every drink has to be exactly the same level. No exceptions. If somebody else is pouring and there's a massive discrepancy it makes my eye twitch.

If I come across any pleats or folds in fabrics I HAVE to put them between my fingers. This can be clothing, curtains, towels, bedding, anything. I can't explain it at all.

I make face's at myself in the mirror when getting ready.

I do this too! Thought I was the only one.

Same, I play with fabric too. Favourites have a certain feel and sound. Have done this since I was wee, still have a pillowcase from childhood.

I have visions of you T Rexin' across your landing and it's really making me smile.

My middle name should be quirky. I can't eat grapes singly. I've stopped twirling spontaneously (at home alone). I don't walk doing it, more of a perioutte. I'm known to plié when I need a stretch. Again I wouldn't crack this out in public, unless I really wanted someone to go away 😉

I pick skin on arms and legs. Sometimes till I bleed.

I leave skin dandruff behind

And if it’s my drink that is over served I will take a sip on my way to where I’m sitting or standing in the hope that when the drinks are sat down they are the same level.

I have made a whole different life in my daydreams with made up people and made up situations that take up all my time.. sometimes I seem more invested in this made up world then the real one.
i will walk in circles and just have these made up scenarios that i return to daily….
