I didn't start cooking until really late and did a very healthy casserole rather than the easier option of cheese on toast.

Watching love rats on Netflix with a cup of tea 🐀🐀🐀 (can't find a rat emoji)

Got covid and am lying awake with bits of tissue stuffed up my nose, waiting for Paracetamol to kick in.

I wake around 2/3/4 every single morning and can't sleep for hours. This has gone on for years. Once I'm awake my mind is instantly in overdrive, I'm a bit of a worrier so I use my phone to distract from that until I drop back off then struggle to get up when the alarm goes off.

Partner woke up saying he can’t breathe. 30 min coughing fit and restlessness later, he’s asleep. I’ve sorted my finances and done an online food shop 🫥

Currently away for work and have been here the past week and have a meeting at 7am. Exhausted is an understatement!

Waitinggame42023 · 20/09/2024 04:44

I'm 39 weeks pregnant so woke up for all the usual related reasons, I can't get back to sleep as I have an induction booked for the morning and am too nervous!

I have a sinus infection and I'm in loads of pain, I've been in and off all night but I think I'm done now as I can't get comfy, might migrate to the sofa and try there rather than risk waking my husband up (who also has a sinus infection)

ThisWayToTheNinkyNonk · 20/09/2024 04:48

@Waitinggame42023 ooo that's exciting! Good luck with everything today I hope you have your little baby in your arms soon

I've been tossing and turning for a few hours now making lists of things that need to be done at work. I posted on a thread earlier about how people are able to work in their 60's. I flippantly said well I'm 63 and still managing fine but forgot about how many times I wake-up anxious thinking about work.

Orangesandlemons77 · 20/09/2024 04:53

Woke up extra early as DS has the DofE silver this weekend, in Wales, just saw the weather looks terrible :-( Needs to start early, they are going at 7am

Feeding my 4 week old.

Tomorrow (today!) is uni drop off for my youngest DD. She is so ready but not sure I am. Trying to manage my feelings now so I don’t embarrass her at the goodbye.

Reading all the mum’s with babies keeping them awake made me nostalgic for holding her close in my arms.

Has a v big work week, lots of working in the evenings, woke early and was instantly awake with all the things I have to do today. I don’t usually drink but by god I’m having wine tonight.

Good luck with the induction today and get well soon to those who are ill.
